Very few hot women that I saw. However, it was like the big titty Olympics up there yesterday. Friends and I have concluded that Ohio has nothing to encourage people to not be a fat mother fucker. And that is male and female. From fat dudes all round us, to fat chicks wearing less than they should. It looked more like a NASCAR race from the fans. My opinionated perspective.

There are a few of us that stay up there. This year everyone had things to do. But, next year we should be good. I think planning should start in early June though.

LOL. I think I remember reading about this when it was linked from another vid site. It had something to do with pressure in the lines and when they opened some type of flood wall to release the water. I don't know for sure, but you can think it out from there.

I have to say I like the dedication. When I bought mine, I said it was the beginning of me collecting cars. I think for the most part, you will not have much luck on here, unless you are buying from some one on here. And everyone who owns an FD on here, is on RX7club. I would continue to search the areas I mentioned before and take your time. Fall and Winter aren't far off and you will see people who are done with the rotary, fall off after having it through the good weather months. That's when the deals will be out. Again, good luck.

Hey Tony, don't dump your trash in my thread. Jegs supports this board and I'm a customer with a good experience. I have seen a set up that has that. However, I believe there is some wiring involved. I know this isn't much help. BTW, Surefire flash lights saved me from having to shoot my rifle many times while in Iraq. Though the situation in a home is completely different, it's still one of the items I have in reach at night.

Also, if you do not have a surefire flash light, I highly recommend looking into getting a couple. They are small and brighter than high beams on your car. Most shot guns have mounts you can buy for them too. I like that you have a plan too. Trouble maker and I were just talking about this last night. So much thought can go into it. Just remember close quarter situations, eyes, muzzle, target. That gun needs to be pointed where you are looking at all times. Good job and have fun tonight.

You have had 2 of the most known and knowledgeable RX7 guys post in your thread. Me, I probably know the growing pains of owning and maintain an FD better than most in the last 2 years. What I'm going to say will lean toward what they have said. In my OPINION from my EXPERIENCE, do not put a cap on your purchase with and FD. I'm not saying spend $30k. $5k to $10k, gets you are car that needs $5k to $10k for you to be happy. The pain and headache of doing a build on a rotary make most people sell before the project is done and end up losing time and $$$$$$. If I was doing it again, I would spend no less than $15,000 and buy a car that has most of what I want for a set up. Turbo swapping is easy. It's the rest of the car that will kick your ass. Even is you stick to stock twins, there is a level of frustration to the build. If you are going to stay bone stock, you are still spending $1500 to $2k on reliability mods and work being done. These are the MUSTS. If you don't do these, you are driving on borrowed time. So you have some money to put on buying a car, that's good. I would save up some more and get a car that is not going to be a headache. There are great deals on WELL built FD's out there. Tony's attention to detail and knowledge given to his car is a great deal. And I hope no one takes it. Sorry Tony. I don't want to see him get rid of the car is all. Join some of the RX 7 forums and check and follow the listings there. Follow auto trader. I looked for 8 months, plus had a friend that knew of a car for me, before I bought mine. You will not see that many FD's on here. Let alone, for sale. At 16, you'll have your hands full with this. Good luck

I would have attached this to my other post about Jegs on 11th, but it's not showing. What I want to say is; if you are buying from Jegs. I highly recommend making it a point to go to the 11th Ave location and deal with Larry. This guy should be writing books on customer service. By no means am I a big spender in there. Yet, the treatment and over all approach to doing GOOD business is out-fucking standing. I really have to say it that way. I needed a part you can't just get. It's one of those, you can't make progress without it, parts. I called Larry and he knew who I was right away. He said he could get me taken care off today. Not in 3 days. Not next week. He said he would make it happen if I stopped in to pick it up. I gave him a time I would be there and he had exactly what I needed waiting off to the side for me. His attention to detail is spot on. I've worked with several people at Jegs and all have done well. But, For service like this I call and ask for Larry. You should do the same.

That choke point sucks. Like many said, wrap it. I would also use a silicone spray on the wrap, and look into putting a heat shield between the exhaust and trans. All of this will run you about $30. All this with new fluid, should cover any relation of heat transfer.
