  1. Wags does great work. My guy at work is slammed, and not taking new projects.

    Woodworking

Today only deal. Just as an FYI. http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-5-5-Amp-Trim-Router-with-Free-1-4-Sheet-Sander-R24011/202488411?keyword=r24011
  3. I'm guessing we are on the same distro list. Even though nothing was listed confidential or higher, there was was some interesting things to read in the email.
  4. I'll talk to the guy at work who makes them for us. He might do side work.
  5. Tell us more about your friend. Many guys are tired of the the strip club visit and would rather do some event with friends. Group range day, Karting, sky diving, kayaking, Lake Erie fishing charter, lazer tag has come a long way and should not be over looked. Let us know what he likes to do and we can throw more ideas out there.
  6. Good vid for router choice talking about AC.
  7. This is what I run for internet only. If I recall, when I had it configured, it had to be set up as a bridge so I could run my own router, which has more wifi options and eithernet connections.
  8. If I'm reading this correctly, you will have two different services, so you just need to be sure the wow connection is a modem that is comparable, which this one says it is with WOW. Direct TV should have its own items for connecting its signal to get to your TV. With that modem, it looks like you will still need a wifi router. I picked up this one last week from TP https://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-Archer-C7-Wireless-1300Mbps/dp/B00BUSDVBQ/ref=pd_sim_147_2?ie=UTF8&dpID=41kCYj5mweL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&psc=1&refRID=6681M1FESZDJ6XR3MNH0 But, I'm selling my old one https://www.amazon.com/D-Link-DIR-655-Xtreme-4-Port-Gigabit/dp/B0085IATWI/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1468339495&sr=1-2&keywords=d+link+655 for $40 if you need a router.

    CCW classes

I do not. This link might help you out. http://www.nrainstructors.org/Search.aspx
  10. Seems like a lot for this deal. XBOX one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IAM1NVE/ref=gbph_img_m-3_0cb1_79f53b03?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=adad8744-e43c-4841-b69c-13bf25020cb1&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-3&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=13887280011&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1B8E7K83H041T4SE29NF

    CCW classes

PM'd back. Thanks for all good word folks. Howard and I really appreciate it. I have been doing a few smaller classes for groups lately. This Sunday has an option for a class, I was just contacted by a couple who are wanting to do one. If anyone is interested in the details, please PM me.
  12. The ECHO PAS 225 is close to appealing for the suburban home. I worry about the attachment option. Seems like a weak point in the near future. The other one Paul linked is curved shaft. No one makes a good curved shaft. Chances are, the Ryobi is fine and does what you need. As someone suggested, have you looked into changing out the head? I have this for my old trimmer and is was great. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Rino-Tuff-Pivotrim-Universal-Trimmer-Head-17093/206470721 That will probably fix your frustration. Very easy to work with.
  13. RX-7 done right! Chris, this is an outstanding build thread. So many parts mad me remember working on many of those things, and wishing I had done other things at times. You build is exactly what I have in mind for how an FD should be. I have not committed the funds to get to where your is. But, now I have a cheat thread to reference for what I have left to do. This car is going to be so fun on the track. Thank you for taking the time to document and post this. P.S. Most expensive 330 HP set up ever. HAHAHA
  14. Whoever buys the board, I'll tweak the bindings to the stance you want, and I probably have extra straps for them. Jesse, what size are your snowboard boots? I have a set of Burton free style boots, size 8, if that helps your buyer. I'll let the go cheap.
  15. That's some good CR looking out.
  16. In 2013 I was able to do the New England rally for Camp Sunshine. Maybe it was because we went through the area I grew up in. Maybe it was because we picked up my dad to rally with us, once we get to Vermont. But, this was the best rally benefit to me. All of them are in need of help, but Camp Sunshine will make you get choked up. Those kids are in a fight everyday, and they do it with a smile and giggles. If anyone of you can spare some funds for this cause, it makes a huge difference. The week kids send there with their family is likely the happiest week of all time for them. Good luck out there and be safe, Doc.
  17. This 3-Year Limited Warranty begins from the date of purchase shown by a valid receipt. If a valid receipt is not available, the 3 year limited warranty period begins from the date of manufacture on originally purchased equipment. This is if you do not register the tool. Maybe you got it from someone, and this would be a reason for this to be the limit of the warranty. But, why would you buy it and not register for the warranty? Lifetime Service Agreement The original purchaser of an eligible product may elect to register for a free Lifetime Service Agreement. To accept this Lifetime Service Agreement, you must register your product and submit proof of purchase for processing approval as described below. The Lifetime Service Agreement provides the original owner of qualifying RIDGID® Brand tools a lifetime of free replacement batteries, free service and free replacement parts subject to the limitations set forth below. The Lifetime Service Agreement is available free of charge, on all eligible RIDGID® Brand hand held power tools, stationary power tools and pneumatic tools, subject to the terms and conditions stated below. Customers have 90 days from date of purchase to register tools for the Lifetime Service Agreement. Once all conditions of the registration process are fulfilled, the tool’s service coverage lasts the lifetime of the original purchaser. The Lifetime Service Agreement status on a tool is not transferable to persons other than the original purchaser. Note: The RIDGID Lifetime Service Agreement is only available for eligible RIDGID tools purchased at THE HOME DEPOT.
  18. Here it is. I have never seen anything saying three year. https://www.ridgid.com/us/en/full-lifetime-warranty Also, their shop vacs are all lifetime, without registration for warranty. All tools must be registered within 30 days of purchase. It is not a difficult task. The first one took learning the site and what info was needed from the receipt. I have 5 tools now registered, it's pretty easy.
  19. Reading through the comments, there is a wide variety of opinion, info and options. Wags, get your hands on these tools and see how you like the fit and feel. Get the quality you feel comfortable with, at the price you can justify. I'm rotating tires and doing oil changes often throughout the year. Add to that the steal roof we just put on, which was several hundred screws. I upgraded my 1/2 impact and impact driver this year, to get a life time warranty and better fit and quality. I also took into consideration to keep all the power tools the same make, for easy swapping of the batteries. If you are being cost conscious, I have pick things up here in the past and have had no issues with the refurbished items. Although, they will only have a one year warranty. They have a store at the Jefferson outlet mall. https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com/categories/power-tools If you are looking to just do tire changes at the track, at home, traveling or local, where are you getting a replacement if you break it? There is a Home Depot almost everywhere to replace a Ridgid tool. The other companies mentioned do have great products. I just had a hard time finding one that beat the life time warranty and ease of replacement for the price and quality.

    Mortgage Brokers

Pretty sure Marc is your guy. I was a broker for almost 10 years. Marc did my house 3 years ago. So, yeah, maybe talk to this Marc guy.
  21. I've had one of these for about 6 months now. http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-X4-18-Volt-1-2-in-Impact-Wrench-Tool-Only-R86010B/203930523 Lifetime warranty, great power, great price point too. It literally cuts the maintenance time by 2/3 when doing a tire rotation. You could buy a gift card for the purchase, get the fuel points, and I'll meet up with me for 10% off.
  22. As if I posted "CR members that are Gen Y and X don't contribute shit". Today, I saw a twenty year old guy and father of a baby girl, lose his best option he had going for him and his family. It blows my mind that someone would risk all that, and not pass a drug test. I'm seeing it more than I have before, and it frustrates me. When you tell them they are done, they are crushed and say they have nothing now. Well why the fuck would you do drugs then? Is it their parents fault? No. It's them. They have to own it, and I'm sitting there watching them be devastated, and then ask for a second chance. Why do people think they get a do over? I vented in the kitchen on CR and got the back lash expected from people that are not the problem. There are issues with all generations, and some will always be more prevalent in certain generations than in others.
  23. Are you out there "hustling" right now? We see different things. I'm glad you are seeing people working harder and smarter. I would be interested to see the info and work you are involved with. Is that an option?
  24. Greg, that's some quality info. Thanks. I do see some great accomplishments from the Y and Z's I mentioned. Too my own fault, I fucking get hung up on seeing people be a waste. And for that, I haven't acknowledged those accomplishing things. GREG "I think your mistake is simply thinking that things are worse now than when you were younger." This isn't how I see it at all. Things were all kinds of chaos from my viewpoint. It's the evolution of how things are done. Working smarter and not harder is great, but I feel we are losing touch with some very basic things that are needed. No one is handing out six figure jobs. And for decades people thought that's what they would be making "when they grow up".
  25. In the OP I talked about what I see a lot of, followed by someone not being part of that. As much as it pains those of you in the Y and Z that you feel I'm taking shots at you, I'm expressing what I see more and more of. I want to see people moving forward. perhaps my perspective in what I see or am around doesn't funnel the Y and Z that is on the move forward. I absolutely love seeing people making shit happen. And frankly, I get heated when I see someone just being a waste. Three of you that have posted in here, I have spent time with and been around. I'm actually surprised to see you post what you have, as I don't see you at all in the manner mentioned in the OP. Sure, I'll be the "old guy" for this thread. Chandler posted some solid accomplishments. That's awesome to read, because I'm just not seeing it from what I'm around.
