We've all had that friend, or have been that friend who keeps getting in relationships with abusive and cheating people. No matter how many times your friends try to help you out and see that person is bad, you keep going back to be mistreated. That's what I'm getting from people supporting Clinton. Stop dating people who tell you what you want to hear. Find someone who tells it straight, even if you don't like it. Being an adult is about making the hard, right decisions, over the easy wrong decisions that.

Class is this Sunday. Have a few open seats.

You looking at weekends only or week days too? My property butts up to a 45 acre field and 12 acres of woods that I share the edge of.

Just a couple weeks out. PM me to be in this class.

Some good talk here on irons and optics. Over all good to know and I like his outlook on usability.

Painted the house in the Spring. Bought a sprayer and $600 of paint. I'm no professional at it, but it did what I wanted it to. The real fix is new exterior. What I want to do would cost $20k. So, I'm looking for other options I would like.

A fixed front sight is one of the most over looked usable feature of these weapons. You can still run an optic. The right rear iron sights will allow for target engagement out to 600m with a 16" barrel. Many fold down front sights are not the same hight as a fixed front sight. That means you are zeroed to one distance and lose the versatility of the weapon. Many people are running optic only and no irons, and for the most part that is fine for many. Solid irons that are dialed in and a good optic as an option, that makes a combo for a battle rifle. Given your price range, a good optic isn't what you want to do right now, since you would be looking at $250-$1500 depending on what you went with.

Neat car. If 200 were made, how many came to the states?

I'm trying not to tell you the the gun you had was all you need, given your price range and what you have posted. Click on this link and link the one you have in mind. https://www.google.com/search?q=AR15&biw=1280&bih=590&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwidy_iEi-PPAhVEGz4KHfPJCIcQ_AUIBygC

6.5hp shop vac with vacuum brush gets it done for us. Doing it tonight, in fact.

As I has asked in the other thread, what are your plans in how you intend to use it? Safe trophy, shooting long range, competition of some sort, "hey guys look at my cool AR"? How much are you looking to spend?
-
Fairly easy actually. Add a fuse to the positive wire, between switch and battery, for safety. Decide where you want to mount the switch and make a hole for it. Figure out where you want to mount lights. The mower I have had pre-drilled holes for things, then just run the wire, solder and insulate/ weather proof your connection.

There is some humor to this. I don't even know if we have anyone one on here with just spray on their import "junk". The only import with spray that comes to mind to 1xxx whp +spray. I can appreciate that you have a build-able platform. CR members cars have come quite a ways since you were on before. I look forward to your posts in other thread.

Thanks for the less than facebook group invite. CR is where friends are made and a great place for info exchange. Tons of threads to Seach on many topics. Show us you have son substance and maybe tweak that intro and add some pics.

These guns don't hold a group very well. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/9A14E921-AF3F-454E-A7B5-2A780FA93876_zpstdouly2r.jpg -
Bump. Would rather sell it here.

Windham Weaponry MPC + extra parts $800

I have this gun. It has been my primary long gun for over 3 years. Any AR classes I have taught, I use this gun and have let students shoot it. The sight on the carrying handle is far better than the magpul Mbus that many people go to. For a flip up rear, there is another mil spec one that will give you range adjustments from 50-600 meters. To say I have shot this gun a lot, would be a light statement. I have not had a fail in any way. Many of the guys I have shot with are running $1500- $2500 gun set ups. I role up with iron sights and a $800 gun, and shoot whatever they do. Just ask Jelloman on here. For all the extras with this deal, you really can't go wrong. Unless you are shooting competition, and need to build a gun to do something specific, this is all you need and keeps it simple. -
I did the typical, looking a jewelry stores, trying to figure out what is what. I was pointed to a custom jeweler who is a broker also. He took the time to educate me, be realistic to my budget, and his quality over what retail stores has saved me thousands. My wife gets compliments all the time on her rings, and other items I have bought from him. He can get something already made, swap out stones to a setting of your choice, or straight up make a setting from scratch. Him and his brother own the place, and I like that it's not a big name and the location is very over looked, in down town Columbus. And, who doesn't want to have an Italian jeweler that is a very cool guy? Call Chris Carioti 614-221-8588. He will treat you like family and the customer care is outstanding.

Class is this Sunday. New feature is up and running on the range. I've had this in mind for quite some time, but never got around to digging the post holes, sorting out what hardware I wanted to go with, getting concrete and the 4x4's. The line comes down after each use, so the range can be set up for other things. Takes 2 minutes to set up. Focus is for multiple target engagement and the option for multiple shooters on the line for a given course of fire. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/163E7695-4108-42C1-B3E3-CDF57EC85EC1_zpsjtfcmqam.jpg

Thanks for all the replies and input. Every post was helpful. I ended up going with a Gravely ZT HD with a 60" deck. The HD had the 3100 series tranmission that sets it apart from many in this class. Thanks Greg for recommending Evo, in Sunbury. Gravely had a great rating for quality and reliability, plus a great discount for where I work. My out of pocket cost was $4000 for a new 60" heavy residential/ low commercial grade mower. Once I got the mower, I took some measurements and had to look at my options for adding lights. Often, I'll run out of daylight this time of year, when I mow after work. Factory light kits run $180. I put together my own kit with some touches I thought were fun and with better light. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/8A4B0287-20F2-4C61-89E7-0CD52A3CD3B0_zpsubqw21d6.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/EE69517C-F93B-4559-B16E-790AF85B03F6_zpsamxvkxaz.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/DC1322A9-8C9C-403D-A8FA-F72452576C59_zpsuio0qlvo.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/CE01B443-FF0D-4864-89BD-B00E32018B1B_zpsby3f7vln.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/93016B18-D089-416E-B67D-31A122F0BF1D_zps5o7tjocz.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/02F3EEEC-F156-4DBE-9BE5-1C8BA845FBB6_zpso8q4zyqc.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/CB468D41-D2D4-4D81-8B14-8DAFF83199A5_zps6sqj9tio.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/D8F74158-5EB3-4300-98CF-DB9A930558E2_zps7kidqu8v.jpg http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/4A737B93-4DD1-4D77-B405-3EE8C6CEB580_zpsfvomrxcq.jpg Parts: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DR67P9I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s03?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GH2QT9K/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s04?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00V0B7YYI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

21 second mark, grey shorts and blue Under armor shirt. What does this Dbag think he is doing, crowd control? Is that some weak ass concealed carry badge, he saw in the internet that he is trying to flash? He's putting it out there like it is Federal credentials. He is either fake, or just out of training and thinks he has to control every situation. Regardless, weak presentation and was overrun completely. Our savor, thank you for coming to the car meet.

Experiences will vary with dealerships. Both sawmill and airport Byers wasted my time and played games with the sales process. I have bought three cars from Lori Glick over at Hatfield. Two were my wife's cars. My wife said Lori made buying a car fun, with no pressure. Byers lost the keys to our trade, once we told them we were going elsewhere, just to try and keep us there. Fortunately, I only gave them a spare key for them to appraise the car. We left anyways and they found the key the next day. Byers trade in was $7,000 lower than what Hatfield gave us. We were paying cash and the guy kept fucking pushing us to finance, so he could get paid on the back from the bank. I called him out on it and he said, "that's not how it works". He pushed financing more than six times, and couldn't even get the car we wanted. We also have a friend that works at Hatfield now, her name is Eva. She is good to work with too.
