  1. Sunday, January 10th, from 8am-8pm. Location is New Albany/Johnstown, about 15 minutes from Easton. PM me for exact address. We still the 12 hour NRA Basic Pistol class that will cover all that is needed for CCL in Ohio. There is extensive emphasis on marksmanship, with one on one training. We cover all that the NRA and the state of Ohio requires, and much more. This is a one day course, so you get it done and over with. Please PM me to get in the class, or for any questions. As always, if you are interested in setting up a class with your family and friends, PM me to have a private class. Couples, PLEASE do all you can to do the class together. We want you both on the same page, as shown by the discount. CR rate is $75 per person + $25 for gun rental and ammo, if needed. Couples are $125 + $25 for gun rental and ammo, per person if needed. Non CR rate is $100 per person + $25 for gun rental and ammo, if needed. Couples are $150 + $25 for gun rental and ammo, per person if needed. We commit to making sure you are trained. If you do not pass the range portion, we will retrain you, at no cost, other than gun and ammo use if needed. If you don't pass the written test, we will work with you so you can pass it, at no cost. If you just don't like how I teach and don't want to retrain, I'll give you your money back. At this time we have no intention of going to a shorter class time; less than 12 hours. We have reviewed our course material and feel that cutting information covered does not serve the student best. Also, if you were a student of my course prior to May 2013, you are invited to attend any current class, free of charge. There is new material and technique being taught. Please message me for details or with questions you may have. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l284/dsnowgod/0ED2FA9F-5384-4D0A-989E-622491238066_zpsyu3zxc2y.jpg
  2. Why anyone would want to continue to post to argue on the internet, to the point of claiming someone would not say that to their face, makes no sense to me. If someone is so butt hurt they want to do something about it, meet up or shut up. Example: I don't agree with how you see this and think you are full of shit. I doubt you would back that up in person, and am willing to meet you to talk about this. Reply 1: I'm not meeting you, you're a Dbag and a waste of time. Reply 2: That's outstanding, When and where? Reply 3: It's the internet, I don't have to reply, because I don't feel like it. All over fooseball. Gent's, I get where everyone is coming from, and the frustration. It's a sport, and my thought is to show up or shut up. Follow through is very unlikely, so why even bother saying shit like this.

  4. The post was reported. So the thread is in the kitchen. Speak your mind gents.
  5. Moved to the kitchen to allow for a less restricted forum. Remember nothing racial or threatening. I am interested to hear where Z is willing to go with this. Are you saying that in person, he would never have the balls to say this to you? Or are you saying, in person you would kick his ass if he said this too you?
  6. Need to read the Genevia and Houge conventions. Plus, 99% of the rules of engagement would have a US service member in prison for an act like this. That said, I posted this video a few days ago on FB. I approve of bad guy and us spreading their good word all around them.
  7. Some of that will be about equipment and practice. Having worked with you before, I think you have the gear and may just need evaluated and pushed a little. Let's do a phone call and sort out some specifics. You and David would probably make a good training team. The other guy you brought last time did well, but the rifle was "challenging" for the training. Does he have an AR yet? Tim, we had talked training a while back. I would love to see where you are at. Let's get something put together.
  8. Ryan, I don't believe I had the stress course set up when you were out last. We have integrated that, and parts of it into a few classes. I have a Qual class I'm finishing up. It will be the Army Rifle and pistol, along with the OPATA qualification. Those are set in, and I have one other test I'm getting details on. This would be a multi gun, fun course that I would add the stress shoot to the end of it. We had a reschedule for a class this weekend, which opened up Sunday the 13th. After that,we are looking into January. Was there a date you had in mind, or anything particular you wanted to focus on?

    CR Stock Watch

Not sure it will hit $9.xx, but I'll probably buy again at mid $10. Hang on for awhile and like it when it hits $15+.
  10. You'll need to read your mortgagee clause and see if your lender allows it to be assumed, or call them. It's very hard to suggest going this route for anyone. Is this to a family member?
  11. No, I've not done one for me. Yes, I have done paperwork for someone to assume a mortgage. Couple questions, why assume and not just do your own loan? Is it a VA loan? Those are good to assume usually, but must be vet to vet or currently serving members. Is this in conjunction with a quit claim for you to be on the deed? Who is the mortgage through? Marc, take over. I have to go do my other job.
  12. I need this on my zero turn.
  13. "Backdraft", so this is a gas HWH? Just want to be sure. Before trouble shooting the wrong set up.

    Fire Clean review

Good to hear similar functionality. Soap and water does wonders. Many people fear water with their guns. I have had to shower with my M4 a few times to get it clean. The last one was for it getting thrown form a vehicle and the weapon landing in amazingly pudding like mud. Aimpoint and weapon were completely sunken into the mud.
  15. A while back I did a review on Frog lube cleaner and lube. I was recently asked about some advice on cleaning products and lube and that reminded me I had not done a write up on Fire Clean. http://www.cleanergun.com/ As many of you know, I shoot quite a bit. I don't shoot high end super clean ammo either. Run of the mill factory reloads or off the shelf are fine for me in target shooting or training. The weapon I choose to test this with was a Ruger SR9c. I have this gun on me for all my training classes and it is my primary for training I do here at the house range. I heard about Fire Clean some time in late 2014. I ordered it in at a cost of $29 for two bottles. For application, I cleaned the firearm with Fire Clean and them did my normal wipe down and lube, once it was clean. In all, I estimate I fired just over 4000 rounds before cleaning the weapon. I'll pause here to bring up some of the posted concerns with Fire Clean. http://www.vuurwapenblog.com/general-opinion/lies-errors-and-omissions/ir-spectra-fireclean-crisco/ The above link talks about allegations that Fire Clean is simply Crisco Pure Canola. You can read the details and see the chemical break down posted in the link. I'm not here to argue any of that info, and find it to be believable. I did read about UV exposure with weapons that use this product. That is what has me writing this review. In my experience with Fire Clean, 4000+ rounds and about 8 -10 months use, I experienced NO malfunctions due to weapon being dirty or gumming up of cleaning product or carbon build up. When I did finally clean the weapon, all carbon and gook that was in the gun, it looked BAD, came clean with a simple wipe down. The was no carbon cooked to the metal any where. So, it did what it said it would, it fired clean. That said, In our August Pistol One class is where I found things to be interesting. It was a very hot and humid day. With five people shooting the course and teaching, we went through 60 bottles of water in less than 8 hours. After the training was done, most of use were soaked in sweat from the heat and the stress shooing portion of the course. It was 3 days later that I notice surface rust on all the metal area outside my holster, to include my rear sight which looked horrible. At first I couldn't understand it. After doing some reading about the UV reaction and Fire Clean, it made sense to me that it had promoted rusting with all the UV exposure. I'm sure there are better details to why it does this. I've not seen a write up about it though, and don't have the ability to do a test that would explain things better. I don't like rust on my fire arms. Therefore, I have not continued use of this product on my guns. I shoot outside in direct sunlight = UV rays 99.9% of the time. To me there was a reaction promoting corrosion. Some may say it was my sweat from it being so hot that day. There are parts of the gun that were rusted that were never in contact with my hand, or any sweaty area. UV reaction or not, I think there are better products out there that even with them as a lubricant there would not have been corrosion. Has anyone else had any experience with this product that they can share? TLTR: It does fire clean. It may just be over priced Crisco Pure Canola oil. It may rust your weapon with exposure to UV.
  16. Love that winter set up. GLWS Bump for great seller.

  18. I have a hard time justifying any stationary equipment like this. I want to run indoors in the winter. But, The cost pisses me off and tells me to take my happy ass outside and run in the cold.
  19. Honestly, anything in that price range is likely to be very limited by speed or stability. Meaning, after the standard three weeks of "I'm getting in shape", you will have realized it is too flimsy or limiting your workout. Then, that becomes the reason you stop working out. Most good ones are going to be close to $400 and up, even on sale.

$25,000 That has 25,000 better places to go. If I ever hit" fuck you" money, maybe I would.

I'm usually in the Subaru when this happens. I know, it's the damn wing. A few years ago I was at Sawmill and 270, waiting to get on 270. I was in the FD and two guys in a stock 2005ish Mustang GT pull up in the lane next to me, but going straight. They just revved and revved, and pointed and were laughing about something with my car. I was the first car at the light. When it turned green, I punched it and broke loose but kept the car going straight and didn't get out of it. Many of you have heard the FD in boost, it's upsetting to the ears. My girlfriend , at the time, was behind me and said they had the best look of surprise she had ever seen. The FD is not loud at idle or low RPM's, but once it's in boost, I have not idea how it make so much noise.

Like with what Casey posted, today it was on coming traffic, and in 20 cars deep waiting for the light. I'm not reving back, that's like high fiving a naked dude in the locker room.
