  1. I know the OP's question is about Tula. I think with what Ryan and I are saying is, if you are considering Tula, it's probably for cost. Freedom Munitions takes the cost factor down and, there are mixed reviews, for me the quality is still there for target ammo. I've shot Tula. It went bang. I'm just not shooting steel ammo.
  2. I've been shooting their stuff exclusively for target, for almost two years now. Great pricing, and I have not had a malfunction. That goes for .223 and 9mm.
  3. If he is not in a financial mess, great for him. Houses for sale, cars back at MAG, business goes under, and talk of court case's. None of that sounds like fun. But, I also don't care if he lives in a cardboard box or a nice house. It just made me think about all the extras we have and if we found ourselves liquidating, would it even matter, or how bad would it have to be?
  4. The guy is selling off all he can, it seems. He is presumably in financial survival mode. CR watches, and relishes in the irony of his arrogance, to what he is going through. So on the flip side, what if you had to go through a catastrophic life style change? That's all I'm asking. The flip side is, the members here don't have the lies, business, and deception as factors for my question to them.
  5. I'm not reading the OP, I know it's sad. Trish, our thoughts are with you and Nate. Thank you for your help in us finding our best friend.
  6. We should go to lunch some day. We are very close in time, in the same place. There is a ton of retirement info that needs to be shared among folks who retire around the same time. Before I took my full time position, my now wife, and I were pretty set on selling everything here in Ohio, and moving to the mountains of Colorado. We don't have kids, so our options are streamlined a bit more than some folks.
  7. As we are all being entertained by the collapse of Dwiggs, put yourselves in his situation. No, not that you made tons of bad decisions, you're better than that. What if you had to liquidate everything for say, a sick family member needing treatment that insurance wouldn't cover. That's pretty extreme. Evaluate what are the luxuries you have, and what do you get rid of? Do you even get $50,000? Does it even make a dent in what is needed for the emergency? What if you hit what I call the "Fuck it button"? Sell it all, and your life is in your back pack. If I was in Dwiggs shoes, this is where my head would be. We have so many common expenses and luxuries. Even if we are not ballers with tons of money. Most Americans run our lives with so many expenses, other than food and shelter. Dwiggs created his own problems. For that, I have little feeling for his situation. His situation just makes me think about all the outside operating cost most of us typically have. Let alone, if you run a business. I'm just thinking out loud here. The easy answer is, don't be a failure or a dbag. Thoughts?
  8. ^^ lol So, you'll have a dirt bike in the middle of the gayest area of Columbus, and the neighbors will hate you if you start it. You'll be within an hours drive to two different "hills", not mountains, for snowboarding. Mountains are a five hour drive from Columbus. Guns, if you like shooting, you can do that around Columbus. Preferably, at a range. Mountain biking and other types of riding are pretty good here. Travel a short ways and you can have some good terrain. We have the only indoor, half mile go kart track in the US right now. Most days they only run it as quarter mile. It's pretty fun for something to do in the winter. I'm sure there's more. Columbus is a pretty fun place it's not disposable income, Cali fun for options. But, there's a good balance here.

    Garage repair??

Looks like Charlie has moved on. Came home Friday to the cables being off on one side for my shop door. Called charlie, no voicemail set up, and have had no call back from someone seeing a missed call. Being that I had a CCW class this weekend, I needed it fixed ASAP. Jumped on Craigslist and called the first guy. He was at my house faster than if I had ordered a pizza. It was like 15 minutes. $25 for the service call. And he gave me his $10 off for Craigslist. Great dude to chat with. He worked quickly and was on his way. Gave me a legit receipt and was professional. Josh garage door guy 614-888-8008
  10. Was that Z's FD with an old 80 roll murder set up? 10+ years ago was a lot of fun. Swirl made me LOL.
  11. Many good points said above. 1. I don't like both hands being involved with the draw. 2. Leather near my crotch, for appendix, not something I want to mess with long term. Sweat, discomfort and smell lead me away from this. 3. I want to see him run with this on, even walk around in a mall. I think it's something odd shaped pressed to your leg, printing. Or it's uncomfortably slapping you all the time.
  12. I think we are heading there early to have a drink or two.
  13. It's an LS, with the local knowledge and on going support, I would get a tune to the car. As Brian said, off the shelf tune = boom. I have spent more on tuning then many do in bolt ons. With the knowledge of Dyno Brian, and him being local, it's kind of a no brainier. Now go fine me a tuner that knows his head from his ass for my rotary.
  14. A quick detail and she's ready to go.
  15. Just hit SAMs club, case of beans and a case of chicken noodle, heading your way.

    winter storage

$125 a month, or for the Winter?
  17. With more power will come the need for stronger components. The pricing is still too high for the new car, IMO. $35K-$40K is frustrating to see for these cars new. To me, the STi/ Subaru's has all the features for a reliable daily, in any weather. It's fun. It's not the latest and greatest in many aspects, but it does what I need it to. I look forward to bad weather with driving these cars. What they are capable of, gives balance to where the car may be lacking in some other areas, to me. We all want to see more power with every model car out there. We just don't want to pay the price for the power to be there.
  18. Welcome, and great intro. Thank you for reading the forum rules and making a quality post. How did you hear about CR? Nice to see another Suby owner here. The car looks clean.
  19. OP said he was fine with a move to the kitchen, so here is the merged threads.
