  1. I found it, but too far to go until the weekend at least.
  2. either pay microsoft to repair it, or get a new drive from ebay and void your warranty (if you have one left) to open it up and replace it. i've replaced a couple of drives, it's pretty simple. you have to open it first and find out the exact drive you have so you get the same exact kind. then, because the xbox doesn't like it when you change it's components, you use the circuit board from the old drive on the new one.
  3. Since it's been a while and I'm thinking some people may have trouble finding it, the white building on the left of the photo is called the Nautica Pavilion.
  4. Sooooooooooo.... what's the hold up?
  5. taxes sucked for me this year as well. it was the first year I owed taxes instead of getting a refund. Consequently, I also just filed them last night instead of 2 months ago like I normally do.
  6. hey, I've got one of those! Well, sort of. My brother has one, but I borrowed it last year when deciding what type of bike I wanted to buy for myself. I rode it around all fall and into the winter. It's got over 50k miles on it and still running strong!
  7. Seriously. I don't think there was even that much, and definitely not anything concrete other than there is no law about it, but you'll probably get a ticket for "something" if they want to pull you over for it.
  8. I was hoping to come, but I think I need to stay home and work on my finals for class. I should be able to make it next week, though.
  9. That is generally the purpose, but it also helps to make more power (assuming the engine has a power adder that heats the intake air like a turbo or sc). It's direct purpse is used to cool the intake air before going into the engine. It's mostly used with running forced induction when you don't have room for (or just don't want to use) a large intercooler or you just want additional cooling of the intake.
  10. It may help in this regard, but I'm pretty sure the main purpose of that piece is to quiet the intake down. Water, in general, doesn't hurt an engine as long as it isn't dumped in there in a large volume. In that case, I can't see that piece making much of a difference. There are even water injection systems that purposely spray water into the intake, a common mod for turbocharged cars. To back it up, I've read on the other forums of several people who have done it and drive in rain consistently without any trouble.
  11. I was out there yesterday with my brothers as well. We took 40 out to Zanesville and jumped on 555 from there. We road down to 78 where we took it over to McConnelsville to eat dinner and grab a picture at the big bucket.
  12. Just did the jumper mod a couple of weeks ago. I haven't gotten a chance to play in the higher rpm's much since doing it, but the little I have seems to be noticeably stronger. Haven't done the ram air mod yet, but plan on doing it soon. From what I've heard it's mostly a sound mod.
  13. Yeah, that sounds right. I got mine for $3500 a few months ago, but that was a pretty good price because of the time of year and the dealership wanting to move it.
  14. He reminds me of these guys I saw in Chicago at a conference. They performed live for the party at the end of week. They also had a young spanish women (a very attractive one as well) singing, mostly in Spanish. It's not the kind of live music I would normally pick, but they were pretty amazing. http://www.andreaskapsalis.com/index.php http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dbm_bfoj32c
  15. Some of the best backpacks for riding. http://www.kriega.us/collections/kriega-rucksacks They also have a helmet skin that you could probably strap onto it if you didn't want to put it in the bag. http://kriega.us/products/kriega-road-helmet-skin
  16. I'm heading over on Friday to get a tire mounted.
  17. Seriously. Whenever I only have about an hour or less to ride, I'm always trying to figure out somewhere decent to ride.
  18. possibly. could have also been the car slowed down quickly to turn at the last minute and the rider wasn't paying close enough attention and rear ended him. I didn't see any info on how they hit. regardless of who was at fault, it's disheartening to see this rash of accidents the last couple of days. be careful out there.
