  1. Poor bike....Removed front brake rotor and caliper...air horns....LED's.....what did this poor Ape do to deserve this treatment?
  2. Welcome to the state and to the site. We lived in Gilbert for a bunch of years so I can relate. While I miss certain aspects of living in AZ the weather is not one of them. Ill take our crap winter in trade for our glorious spring, summer and fall any day. I remember dreading getting on my bike to ride to work during the PHX summer.....
  3. I have a Dan Kyle map loaded into the PCIII. I would like to se just how close it is. Maybe Ill step up for a full tune after I get the suspension sorted....
  4. Anyone looking to ride down to Brian's from the Cleveland/Lorain area? Sounds like a good excuse for an early season ride.
  5. Spring is around the corner and I am looking for some help setting up my RC's suspension for me. I don't want to spend months guessing and then second guessing my set up. Does anyone here know of a anyone or a business in or around NE Ohio that can help me out with dialing in my forks and shock?
  6. Where in Maryland are you planning on being? East, West...northern....?

I used to say that to myself everyday when I rode my cycle to work in Scottsdale in the middle of August. Sure its 112 degrees.....but it's a dry heat......so is a pizza oven.
  8. All clear in and around Cleveland. Winter weather watch already up for Tuesday and Wednesday though.

From someone who now lives in Cleveland but has lived near everything you have mentioned above........the grass is not always greener, just saying. Nothing is free. You simply trade one evil for another.
  10. I passed an old diehard biker on 90 the other day. No helmet to help keep his face warm in the 20 degree temp but he rode with his left hand over his face to block the wind instead. Maybe he thought his ZZ Top beard would have helped.
  11. What I think Ron is saying is this. Assuming you have a cracked cylinder, head or just a torched head gasket you probably are loosing most of your cylinder pressure. No cylinder pressure equals no compression which means no combustion. No combustion in the rear cylinder means that the fuel will not burn and is just being pumped into and out of that cylinder.......
  12. I would see your description and ask myself why a bike with so few miles needed a new voltage regulator, cables and a engine gasket set. I would be hesitant to buy any bike that has needed so much stuff in so few miles
  13. In this economy yes, people would kill to have job that would put money in there pocket so that they do not lose there homes, cars and can put food in there kids mouth. Sad but true. If you honestly feel that your employer is putting you in danger than you need to contact the HR dept or anonymously complain to OSHA.

It's not a "these days" thing....It has been happening since people started relying on motorized transportation and electricity for their daily life. My parents did it as did their parents before them and that was way before most people even had a TV in there house and before mass media even existed.
  15. I am sure lots people would kill to have your job...or any job for that matter.
  16. while my "mature" side says spend the last 24 hours with my wife and kids at Disney ..... My bucket list side says....... .... Drive a twin turbine offshore powerboat from Lauderdale to Key West. Once there Ill catch a private concert by Jimmy Buffett for me and 50 of my friends. With the remaining time ill jump into a Mclaren F1 and see how far north I can make it before I expire
  17. Found this on a nerd site... "Tries to simulate the simple joys of talking over CB radio on the highway. Just call in and enter the number of a highway and you will be entered into a group chat with other people traveling along the same road."
  18. I have had a Corbin on 2 Ducati's and VFR and I never been disappointed. Quality is first rate and they are a pleasure to deal with.
  19. I used to go yearly to bikeweek but at somepoint for me the attitude there turned anti-sportbike in general and "jap crap" more specifically. I got tired of sitting in non moving traffic for hours with ear drum splitting open piped Harley's. Maybe just as bad as the 90% Harley crowd is the other 10% of Sportbikes is made up of lots of squids. It is just not a place for me anymore. With that said.....go once and enjoy the circus.
  20. As big and heavy as some of those folders are I would be really worried about them tearing up some plastics on the bike if they at all shifted while going down the road. I use the 2x8's but I am a bit nervous when loading or unloading alone
  21. Again I have to ask.....with a ramp that big where do you store it once the bike is in the bed of the truck?
  22. So where do you put that monstrosity once the bike is in the truck?
  23. I spent $15.00 at Lowes for a ramp "kit" that consists of 2 pieces of angled aluminum that bolt onto a pair of 2x8's. You can cut the 2x8's as long or as short as you like....
