  1. oh and happy birthday to the HebrewHammer
  2. CR: Where if you are friends with someone you get called a nut hugger :dumb:
  3. I know some people seem to think there was no teeth in this, but they were VERY wrong. Now, I get it that the EPA has a place, and there is a need, however that agency's attempted overreach is always scary.
  4. Its like an angry real life Hot Wheels car
  5. Yeah, I was told that I had to use my car for some stuff, it would make the process easier This is in the works right now I think. They have run a good amount on EFI tuning, but they have people in house in CA who are killer EFI guys. http://www.dragzine.com/news/exploring-volumetric-efficiency-with-aem/ As for the ECU comparisons that might be something that can be done...
  6. So, I've been tasked to start coming up with some tech type articles for Dragzine. I've got my ideas, but I would love to hear from the people who are the target audience, what do YOU want to see in tech type articles for drag racing? Some of the things on the table as possible articles: Torque converter tech for Nitrous cars Drag racing suspension upgrades for street/strip cars Building a LSX based bracket car (there will be lots of sub articles) Nitrous and modern EFI (lots of sub articles here) So, what would the racers and general public like to see covered?
  7. Oh, my, lawd this car is all killer and no filler.
  8. By far one of my favorite cars ever. http://www.dragzine.com/features/car-features/savage-chevy-tony-bassos-blown-outlaw-10-5-nova/
  9. This car is a savage bitch for sure
  10. Its actually Scott's old Circle D unit. It is around a 4200 stall that flashes way to high for this combo, it needs tightened up big time to max out what we are doing. Current gear is a 375 and is causing the car to hit the rev limiter to soon at the top end. Not going to cut to much weight outside of swapping some suspension stuff out.
  11. 9.99 in full street trim with stock heads :fuckyeah:
  12. Well, Cordell and I had the goal of running 11's on motor and 10's on spray at the track day. The problem is that in the morning session the track was just not there and the weather was not helping, best was a 12.08 on motor. In the afternoon after finding that the idiot at Jegs was wrong and the bottle was not bad, we turned on the giggle juice. The result was a 10.90 @ 123 with a 1.53 60' and a 6.94 1/8th mile time on the 150 shot. What is more scary is how much is left in the car. The converter and gear are not using the power correctly, the shocks are beat, the progressive is not playing nice, and this is at full weight. I would like to thank Scott for helping build this car, without him none of this would be possible. His vision and know how have made this an amazing journey, and he teaches me every time we decide to move onto the next phase. I would also like to thank the others who have helped, without the support of these great people the car would not be where it is. Brian Turner for the tuning assistance, Brady at PPC for the suspension help, and the team at Big 3 racing for the gangster ass nitrous cam. At this point things are about to get even more serious with "the red dragon", due to my new job. The car is going to become a test bed for some articles and might even be getting an angry brother in the garage :fuckyeah:
  13. 10.90@123 with a 1.53 60'
  14. I might have a little something for you come the fall.
  15. It will be through SmugMug I bet, they are legit. I just never set up a store with them.
  16. Ordered one? I don't have a store set up on there lol.
  17. Shots that my wife and I took
  18. http://www.speedvideo.com to get your racing fix
  19. They are not the poor ignorant victims the local news is trying to make them out to be. Bottom line, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
  20. Truth is coming out more about these pepole for sure http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/04/27/violent-rhoden-brothers-met-a-violent-end-in-ohio-massacre.html My dad grew up in Southern Ohio and went to school with some of their family, he pretty much said the same thing "always been a bad bunch". My money is still on a drug hit, this is way to pro level for Pike county.
  21. Nope, just had the tune fixed on motor and spray for the new cam, and some rather large tires.
  22. Fixed the bottle heater last night and topping the bottle off today.
  23. Whatever is required for normal NHRA/Trails tech. CR or none of its members will be doing the actual tech, that falls on Trails and their staff.
  24. I will be getting there early to point people to what lanes for tech and keeping things running smooth in the lanes. Make sure you stay by your car for tech! After the track goes hot and people start to pull forward we will move tech forward to keep it from going out the back of the lanes. Have all of your gear and credentials ready for the guy when he gets to your car.
  25. After a shakedown pass me and Hoblick are locked in for some action :fuckyeah:
