Best way to drill holes into track fairings
Saacattack replied to Saacattack's topic in Tech and Tips
Sweet. thanks! I took off all the stock stuff to aline and make sure it fit. Everything seemed too except I had a little trouble with the upper fairing. I moved wires around and I think it will fit once I get the holes in. I'll just need to get a different windshield because mine doesn't fit. Those drill bits look like they will work. I was looking at some of them and damn! those things are expensive! even for single ones! -
good write up! Just reading these posts I've learned a good hunk of information. I think for me(novice) I'm not braking enough and the body position isn't quite right. So carrying speed through the corner has been iffy at times. I know last time I was out at Mid-Ohio I had a couple "oh shit moments" and I knew what I did wrong and was able to briefly save myself from low and high siding. One spot was the keyhole and the other I believe was turn 6, maybe 7(the one that goes left down hill after the back straight). I believe my throttle control isn't really in control then right? because if it was I wouldn't have had those "oh shit moments". Looking forward to more of these posts!

I hate to make a thread just for one question buttt I just got my track fairings in the mail the other day:D and am wondering what's the best way to go about drilling the holes so it fits. I don't really want to f it up lol I did a search, but didn't find anything in any threads. If I missed it, my b. I appreciate the input!

About two weeks ago My girlfriend bought a Lenova U410 14" Ultrabook for Med school off Amazon. The thing I didn't like was that it came with Windows 8. I don't know much about it and didn't really ever interested me. Anyways, my question is when we turn it on, it tries to do an update. When it gets to 15%, it's unable to update and reverts changes. I know on my pos laptop I can go into the settings and click on windows updates. With Windows 8 none of this shit makes sense haha Anyone have Windows 8 and know another way to possibly do an update? I called and spoke with Amazon, they said we could return it no questions BUT this ultrabook is now out of stock. Thanks guys and gals!

My girlfriend and I spend about 600/month on groceries. Most of it is vegetables(due to her having psoriasis and Socratic arthritis). We cook every meal and never have enough for left overs. We go once a week sometime more. That's not included food for the dogs. In the summer it's less because we will go to farmers markets and little local shops for the veggies.

I've decided I want to make the Daytona track dedicated. So I'm selling what I can. I did however lay her down in June street riding going about 35mph and took some damage to the right side. The right fairing I was going to sand and paint. Sanded, but never finished. clearly ha. I'll play with prices, so don't be shy. Here's what I've got: Carbon Fiber Cockpit Infils $70(both) Cockpit Fairing $60+shipping Headlight Assembly $55+Shipping Left side Fairing $90 Right side Fairing $40

What.the.fuck. So we have people stabbing their kids to get back at someone and then we have people blaming a company for gas containers blowing up when starting a fire. What is wrong with this world

I've never really been a guy who cares much about the inside details. Half of the things mentioned I don't understand(with cars anyways). But god damn! What a good find!
