I've never used the suction cup mount at the track, but I have used it on the streets and high/freeway. It worked well then. It didn't move around that much but again it's a straight line, not cornering. IMO I'd stick with the 3M mounts and use the extension pieces for track use

Since my move to Philly, I've decided I'm not going to used these anymore. I've had them probably around 4 years and I've used them for my Lap Top and my TV and they are awesome. anyways, I'm asking around $75 but honestly I'll play with the price. I'll cover shipping or I'll be in Columbus next month 19th, 20th and 21st for pick up in Columbus area polaris worthington area

I plan on doing the same to my Daytona. what did you use on the cockpit fairing to seal/cover the headlights? Ninja looks SICK though!

it being a Suzuki, most likely he wasn't wearing a helmet

where's the motorcycle family one? more stickers for triumph would be good too. Daytona, street triple, etc.

I didn't see any movement from the car what-so-ever showing that it ran over the cops foot. If it did, the cop should not have even placed his foot in front of the car/tire. I get being upset, but I think a line was crossed and he over reacted a bit. Aside from that, it's kind of funny, but also slightly shows how fucked up this world is.

Id disconnect the tank and let gravity do the rest. Ive gotten water in my tank twice and that's what I did. Now I finally got a cover and learned my lesson

Since my last track day I've decided to dedicate my Daytona strictly track. I've been trying to come up with a paint job of some sort that's simple but pops a little bit. the picture is NOT of me. but it was the best plain picture of a bike with track plastics. what do you guys think? would you change anything to make it look better/sleeker? The colors I'm set on. Just trying to figure out what looks best. I would paint the wheels white and have green trim, like rim stripes. if the wheels were green, I think it would be too much.

a buddy of mine just picked up 81 450L for a good price as well about a month ago. It's his first bike and he loves it. I had to ride it back for him. It was definitely weird riding that compared to my daytona haha

saw this on my way home from philly yesterday says "ID8ME2" -
I just removed the tank and everything looked clean. I re connected everything and double checked all my wires and they are all clean. It just wasnt making sense for it to be wiring. So starting checking all my fuses in my fuse box and my engine fuse was fried. I replaced that and she started right up! I feel retarded for it being so simple but I figured it out so that makes me feel better. I do appreciate everyone's help! I'm going to clean her up and get back out there soon

I'll take a video of everything and post it up here and hopefully that will clarify some of this stuff up

On both my previous(05 kawi 636) and current ( Daytona) bikes I've had water get into my tank after a down pour of rain. I got it pumped out and put fresh gas in and that solved my problem. the fluid was clear and didn't smell or look like gas either.

The bike has not started since it's been down. Like I said, it sounds different which I posted vids up earlier in the thread. Hit the ignition. nothing. doesn't crank, lights don't flicker(but the gauge lights are fully lit). no sound whats so ever. So I tried a fully charged battery and that didn't do anything. same boat, square one. The bike is in neutral, tried starting it with the stand down and up. nothing. I tried starting it leaned over and still nothing. same thing happens as stated above. I disconnected a bunch of wires and reconnected them. nothing. Took the whole instrument panel apart and reconnected everything. nothing. Took off the sensors and shook them like suggested and nothing. The lights still come one, hit the ignition and still no sound of it trying to crank or anything. I've seen at post where the guy suggests turning the key multiple times. I've tried that and it doesn't change anything either. I attempted to disconnect the fuel pump but couldn't get it to disconnect. I've never done it before. At the angle I was working at I couldn't get it off. I'm going to try and take it off again tomorrow morning. so maybe that's my issue? If that's not it. what else could it be possibly? The bike went down on the right side only. It took a hard hit going down like myself. But there's not dents or anything. most of the damage is cosmetic stuff. minus the grip and bar ends which I still consider cosmetic lol
-
So I removed the sensors and shook em around and what not and it still makes the same sound. My next guess is the ignition switch.
-
I'll check it when I get home from work
-
well the kill switch still turns everything off when I hit it. so could it still be that? or wouldn't that be the ignition switch?

here's what it sounds like: View My Video this is what it should sound like, between the first 8-11 second of the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qv9ek1etqWQ

Let me rephrase that usual sound. before the crash, when starting the bike, when the gauge lights came on and the rpm shit goes up and back down, thats when the sound is made. like the bike was talking to me happy to go for a ride. as of right now. it sounds like it's trying to make it, but can't. but the rpm gauge still goes up and down. When I hit the ignition, nothing happens. doesn't click. doesn't crank. nothing.

I'm just looking for a little direction here. Since I'm not too knowledgeable about things outside cosmetic stuff. But this is a work in progress because I want to know! I'd ask the Triumph675.net forum, but no one really answers questions I low sided yesterday and the headlights still work, blinkers, horn, kill switch and the whole gauge lights still come on. after the crash they worked and even now. When I got home yesterday, I took out the battery and cleaned her up as best as I could. I put the battery and the spare battery in and everything still works as stated above. It tries to make the usual sound when turned on. So I know some of you guys suggested the sensors. I took a look at them and they seemed ok. no damage was done to them. But I also don't know what I'm looking for either So where else or what else should I be looking for/at? I'm assuming it's wiring of some sort? any suggestions would be appreciated!
