  1. It's a Honda. You will have a reliable vehicle for as long as you want to have it.
  2. We can still go to the showroom, sit on a few, and go "vroom -vroom".
  3. 12-6 would be easier for me to get child-care.
  4. True story. That bike may be way too super fast though. I'm not really bent on selling. I've kind of made up my mind that if I sell it... great, if not, I'll save up and get a second bike in the spring. As much as I picture myself on a nice British or Italian cruiser, I know I'll miss that redline.
  5. And you should really consider Drew's Kawi. I'd buy from the forum before Craigslist every time. Seasoned members have some pride and wouldn't sell you a POS. That's really a perfect bike. Make a day of it and have your GF follow you home.
  6. Don't overthink the season away. Just tell your girlfriend (or whoever holds the jar with your nuts in it) that you'll probably be selling it in the spring. Profiteering takes time and patience, but if you set out to break even, buy anything now and sell it in April if you don't like it.
  7. Thank you. How do we address the envelope and check so that it goes to the right place for the right reason?
  8. Wait a second........... Josh is without a bike......
  9. This is why I would do well in midget-porn.
  10. I have trouble picturing a scenario in which this group shows up without "enough" guns. You'll be covered.
  11. I've not been described as "nimble" for many years.
  12. I'm very interested. I have some emails out to some babysitters as my wife will be out of town. Go ahead and book me and if I need to back out, I'll sacrifice the cash or offer another member my spot for 1/2 price.
  13. From a dollars and sense standpoint, it makes none.
  14. Sale prices around $480 new with 2 mags. If it is a clean gun, I'd pay that. Great guns!
  15. Seller needs to price to the target market. $6k? That's like 8 high-end purses.
  16. Although the R is a great bike, it puts out about 25% less HP than the FZ6 and is fully-faired. It's still the operator that makes the difference though. If I do get a cruiser, will you guys still waive to me?
  17. No, thank you. Good looking R6 though.
  18. Not too many left. Thanks for the bump!
  19. Absolutely! Not sure what yet. Cruiser maybe?
  20. Not for sale any more. I'm selling my 2009 FZ6 with 9xxx miles and counting. I bought the bike new in August of 2009 and have used it mostly for commuting on the highway. This is a great compromise between sportbike speed and handling and a naked standard. Wind protection is good and ergonomics lend to long distance riding. This bike really comes alive at 8000 RPM. The FZ6 is consistently voted "Best Motorcycle Ever" by FZ6Forum.com. Had this off of the market for a while and am now considering selling again. Asking $4700, nestled comfortably between KBB retail and KBB trade-in. Brand new Michelon Road 2s installed by Hoblick last fall.... less than 500 miles on them... still have the little rubber prickly things sticking out (like french-ticklers, only on tires and really for no one's pleasure). Oil changed less than 1000 miles ago as well. This is really a comfortable, fast bike. Dyno read 85hp at D-day. Edit: OFFICIALLY OFF THE MARKET.....NOT FOR SALE
