She's not correct. At some point, your ex put you as a contact. Worse case, hospital gets a fine, but there is currently no enforcement for HIPAA. However, if she put you as a contact, then you are an interested party and the law is grey around that. Billing is not health information. I fight with people who think they understand HIPAA daily.

While searching for my next bike, I'm finding it difficult to find good data about the fuel economy. Not important to some, but it is to me as I would have difficulty justifying a jump to a less efficient bike. Without embellishments, what kind of mileage do you get?
