  1. Love the Warrior! The Nightsters are decent, but you would be disappointed with the performance. I disagree that Harleys are overpriced though. Compare it to a 1200 CC cruiser from any other manufacturer. At sub-$10k, it's right in the mix. Used HDs are overpriced because the owners think they're far greater than the rest of us do.

    Scam?

Exactly! Figure out a way today inconvenience these crooks.
  3. Looking at my license it does state: "License to Carry a Concealed Handgun", so I guess it really isn't a CCW. In fact, I argued with the guy at Buckeye Outdoors when he wouldn't sell me an auto-assist knife. "So I can carry around a loaded gun, but you are telling me that that knife would be illegal in my possession?".... "yep". Back to the OP though, just find a place that is convenient and within your price-range. I really don't think you'll get anything more out of one than another. They have certain criteria to which they must adhere. Good luck! Any time we can add a gun to one more good guy, the world is a little safer.
  4. Same permit, different name. Concealed Carry Weapon... permit or Concealed Handgun License. If I'm wrong, Chevy will correct me. He done learned it good.

    Scam?

Here's the last one I saw last fall... similar story line. "Hi, the bike is in great condition, has been properly maintained, has never been laid down or abused in any way. it comes with a clean title and the price I'm selling it for is $2800, which is including all charges. I used to live in Westerville but I'm currently working in the UK (London) and I'll be moving here permanently within the next few months and I can't afford the luxury of taking the bike with me so I decided to let it go. I'm using a privately-held company called Safehouse Self Storage Ltd. to sell this bike, I left it at their warehouse before leaving to the UK. they are supervising the entire sale process from payment, shipping with a 14-day return policy, title transfer service or/and (if needed) returns and refunding. if you want to purchase it, let me know and I will explain you how the company works and how we can move forward. Thanks" Everywhere he said the bike was, I had a cousin who was going to stop by and check it out. I had him going for a few weeks. Bastards....
  6. +1. I completed my class here. Very thorough one day class. Probably pricey compared to others though. I think it was around $125 back in 2004.

    Scam?

Take the opportunity to mess with him a bit.

    Scam?

Likely a scam. Low price+ odd pricing .... $xx40 instead of even hundreds...$2500 typically signals the scam. Never know though
  9. Thanks for the response. I have a few more years on the FZ, but when it's time I'd like to think about going Italian...Duc or maybe a Tuono.

  10. When I was looking at bikes, it was down to the FZ6 and the Monster 696. Having experience with both, what would you buy today? Just curious.

  11. Young stud in New Albany last night thought enough of his own life to don a helmet, but the hottie on the back apparently wasn't worth it. Manly-man. As for these two, I can't bring myself to shame the critically injured. I hope they pull through.

    RIP Chachi

Hang in there. Focus on the good times.

    RIP Chachi

That's horrible. You could tell from his posts that he was a nice kid. RIP. I wish I had known him.
  14. I hope they dedicate 2/3 of the show to covering his family again. That was super-awesome.
  15. Congratulations! Your life just changed forever... in a good way
  16. OK, that was pretty damn funny. Can't wait to see the new wheels!

    Schizophrenia

I'm fascinated by the minds of the insane. It all makes sense to them. Or maybe they're the ones who are sane and the rest of us are simply going through life in a blind stupor.
  18. I'm in Fremont this weekend and stopped by the store. Your prices for the 2009 leftovers are amazing! CBR 600rr for $8k. ER -6n for less than $5k. Ninja 500 less than $4k. Wish I was in the market for a new one. That pretty white cbr would be mine.
  19. This all could have been avoided if there was proper signage prohibiting the carrying of concealed firearms.
  20. Racist idiots come in all colors. The absolute injustice is the DOJ refusal to prosecute as dictated by law. Voter intimidation is illegal.
  21. Between looking at a new Ruger Single six and buying it two days later, Gander R-burg raised the price $40 on every gun stating that they now include "free" gunsmithing foe a year.
  22. Awe hell... I have to agree with Aerik. Don't get used to it though.
  23. Vances in Columbus has Sig 250s for $499 brand new listed in their monthly flier so know that they're going to make a good margin from you XDs are listing at $399. I love my Sigs though. Never shot a 250, but I'm always skeptical of all that fancy interchangeable stuff.
