I used to be a big scotch guy, but now I'm bourbon and beer. I love a great bourbon....my go-to is Blanton's and Maker's when the 14 year old bar tender gives me the look.... You know the one I'm talking about. As for Cigars... I'm perfectly satisfied in that $8-$15 range. I generally let the young enthusiast at the shop pick a few out for me. Some of my favorite nights have been cruising up high from Broad to Worthington smoking a nice cigar on the bike. And then finishing off with a nice glass of bourbon on ice.

Kickstand.... I do this at some stoplights as well. Many parking garages will have a "no motorcycles" sign not because they hate motorcycles, but for this reason.

Why do some enjoy sailing while others need a jet ski? A jet ski/wave runner is faster, better handling and adrenalin pumping while the sailboat is slower, peaceful, hard to turn, and more relaxing..... I'm not looking for increased heart rate and a buzz from my ride. I'm in it for pleasure....relaxation. Honestly, I've never seen or heard anyone being ridiculed for gear or lack-there-of except for here on OR. Ride your ride and enjoy it.

I've always interpreted the rule that it is if you are being questioned/accused. I've had my car broken into and felt no obligation to say anything while giving my report in front of my house. I'm sure it doesn't hurt.

I agree with the guy.... I don't know how many times I hear "I bought my first gun, I'm going to add xyz mods to it" or "what mods should I add?". Same with bikes. Change what you don't like, but when you list your mods when you sell it, please know that I don't give a fuck and think the modderer is a tool. "Power commander to squeeze out ten more HP than the 20 I never will use"...."blah blah blah....".... Comfy seat? Sure. Fender eliminator? Ok, I dig that look. Heated shit and luggage? Ok, I'll play. I had a great experience with their new bike sales. I called, was given a cash price, and rode my FZ6 in only to be given what I was I asking for the FZ6 on Craigslist for the trade. I was thrilled. Lennie in sales made it all come together. Perhaps I suck at negotiation, but they made money and I was satisfied with what I paid. I'll buy my next bike there if it falls within their inventory list.
