1. SOLD.....2/16/12 I'm trying to move to one carry platform and am selling two brand-new DeSantis Holsters. I ordered them from The Glock Store about three weeks ago. Other than trying them on, they are unused. Both are leather. Both are black. Right Handed. DeSantis Cozy Partner IWB- Glock 17, 19, 22, 23, 31, 32, and 36 as well as Ruger SR9. DeSantis Mini Slide OWB- Glock 17, 19, 22, 23, 26, 27, 31, 32, 33, and 36. Asking $40 each or $70 for both. Active or former military $30 each or $60/both. PM if interested. I'm in central Ohio and Cleveland several days per week. Links to Glock Store where I purchased. I've since found the Cozy Partner for $10 less at Cabelas. http://glockstore.com/pgroup_descrip/353_IWB+Holsters/7430_Cozy+Partner/ http://glockstore.com/pgroup_descrip/399_Glock+37/7549_Mini+Slide+Holster/?mode=image
2. They're great shooters. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
3. I've always had a sweet spot for the nighthawk. Congratulations!
4. I've gone the past three years, but this weekend is pretty booked.
5. Well, once again I set out to prove to myself that I'm not a Glock fanboy. I've been shooting and carrying my Sig 239 almost exclusively. In fact, the G19 has been serving a inanimate purpose for at least a month without a shot. Today, I brought both to the range for a comparo. Targets were shot cold, first 8 rnds out of both guns. Range of 25 feet, slow, aimed fire. First shot Sig was DA. Target on left is the Sig. Right is the G19. The Glock grouped better, acquires the target more easily, stayed on target during rapid fire drills, and has double the capacity. I'm not mad that I shot high. My Sig shoots low and I was used to covering the center with the post. My first shot hit high, so I just maintained target for the group.
6. Let me be the first to welcome the Blue Helmets when they begin helping the US enforce small-arms treaties.
7. Don't pay $500 for a used Glock. Brand new Gen4 can be had for $519 and brand new Gen 3 for $499 or less. Armslist is becoming Craigslist with their ridiculous pricing.
8. Actually, it never came in. I accidentally used my old Cabela's card for the shipping. When They emailed me about it, I canceled the order and They reissued the gift card. I have a couple boxes of forty, but I think I'll keep it for currency during the apocalypse. Glad you like the CZ. I'll be getting a 9mm in March.
9. That CZ is pretty sweet, isn't it?
10. IMO... the two best sub-$300 new guns out there. I have a Sigma, but is currently on loan. I'd stake my life on its abilities.
11. Green You need the legs in there. The wheel in the other top 2 is too hard to make out at a glance. Don't like the dogs riding.
12. I've enjoyed this Sig. Not the lightest, but very comfortable.
13. +1 Every time a woman gets a CHL, our cause moves forward. Thank you for taking your safety upon yourself. FYI... my wife carries a Smith Bodygaurd. If you are comfortable with a .380, it's a solid little gun. No failures of any kind and hits where you point it. The sights aren't horrible and there's a lazzzzer if you want it.
14. Rep IOU for being a size-ist.
15. Thomas would support it. Not sure about the others.
16. If you notice the notch in the hole at top-right..... obviously from taking the Glocks through it gangsta style.
17. Someone is going to be in deep shit!
18. 9mm is significantly less expensive, but I'd personally stay with .40 since that is what you have. I've subscribed to and kept every issue of Gun Tests Magazine since January 1996. Over time, the XDs have consistently had the highest rating of the three, but I didn't like mine and sold it. Just never felt right. Glocks vary by model over time with lowest ratings being a "B". I love the Gen4 19. It works for me. Early M&PS had terrible ratings, but are recently right up there with the other two. I've never owned one or even held one, but some (really only Chebby) really like them.
19. It always amazes me that the same limited government conservatives want the government to interfere in personal matters of the heart. Liberty is liberty and by its nature, people are free to do things others may not like.
