I have several of those and they are great little stress breaker/time killers. Besides that if you have a lot of time to kill at the range you can use them to work up a load while there.

This bike ran, a girl I know bought a Harley so her boyfriend bought this as a first bike. He stalled it everytime he tried to take off so he gave up on it and resorted to riding bitch on the Harley. I know the guy it was bought from and know it did run, this girl told me last October it was for sale and needed a battery then. I will get ahold of them tomorrow and let you know. I do believe this bike had a header on it.

You may want to research your price as you may be cheating yourself out of some funds. I just googled "kidney for sale" and found that there are some listed from $70-95K, ask a little more and give yourself more room to deal.

I have been in there for a few OEM parts and got fair prices, I checked on some aftermarket parts they were way too high. However as has been stated by MT, I checked on a DR 650 with a great sticker price only to find out they were actually 500-600 dollars higher than some northern stores.

You should be OK with that load but also remember to start low and work up to prevent bad things from happening. Here are a couple from some other books, Lyman 49th manual - 25.0 to 27.8 grains Hornady 7th manual - 22.8 to 26.4 grains Speer 14th manual - 25.0 to 27.0 grains

A friend of mine got one of those a couple years ago and he is very happy with it. It is really sturdy for a Harbor Freight item and I wouldn't mind having one myself.

If you're not doing a whole bucket of brass, I use this setup to keep from getting cramps in my fingers.

There was a guy at the local range shooting with one of those and it looked like a fun toy but I don't think I could come off that kind of money. Not wrong, it used to be a 6" min., I'm not sure exactly when it changed but 5" has been legal since at least 2007.

My dad used to have South Bend that I'm guessing was a 12x48, the guy that bought it loaded it on a rollback with the help of a backhoe and hauled it to Texas. He also had an Atlas that was just right, it was like an 8x36, he had to nurse it along because a local factory scrapped it and handled it as such. He got it for scrap iron price but they busted all the levers off and kept the motor.

Just looking to do small items like cast bullet sizers, push pins and misc. little stuff that adds up over a while. Some of the sizers aren't but $10-15 but add $10-12 in shipping it adds up. I needed a bushing a while back that was like $3 but a $5 minimum order and $10 in shipping made it not worth ordering. I used to have access to very good mills and lathes to use myself but they sold out and I hate bothering another friend of mine with these things that I'm sure are trivial to him, he does them and refuses to take a dime but I don't want to turn into a pain in the ass. This is still in idea stage and I seen one still in the box for $400 and one that has been set up, trued and ready to use for $400, that was replaced with the 8x12 model.

I had only seen two reports of bad motors and one of those were operator error. While this is a hobby type tool and the space needed for it is right it is a costly purchase that needs plenty of research. Maybe I'll just wait for something else to pop up.

Does anyone here have or did have one of these lathes. Thanks for the input, many years ago I picked up one of the RCBS electronic scale only and when you tried to trickle up to the desired weight you would go over half a grain before it settled. I'll head over to youtube to check out the vids.

Which do you use and is it OK with both stick and ball powders? Which type powder do you use in it?

I have a P-11 that shoots fine and with a little practice the heavy trigger is no problem. I have shot some 2" groups at 25 feet with mine, I know that isn't very far but mine has some pitting in the barrel and I'm no expert.

And that boys and girls is why I sold my sportbike back in the late '90's. Those darn Harleys were getting too darn fast.
