  1. Nine Words Women Use

    1. Fine: This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

    2. Five Minutes: If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the football before helping around the house.

    3. Go Ahead: This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

    4. A Loud Sigh: This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer quickly to No 9 for the meaning of nothing.)

    5. That's Okay: This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

    6. Thanks: A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add a clause here - This is true, unless she says 'Thanks a lot', which is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say 'you're welcome' - that will bring on No. 7).

    7. Whatever: Is a woman's way of saying, "F-- YOU!"

    8. Don't worry about it, I got it: Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking 'What's wrong?' For the woman's response refer to No. 9.

    9. Nothing: This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

I printed this, folded it up and put it in my wallet. So now if my G/F gives me shit I can reference the correct response. Good Stuff!

  2. never met him but it feels like I lost someone close for some reason

    +1

I think most of the time we're all too cool to admit we have our "internet friends". But the fact is, if you talk or type to someone long enough in some ways you're becoming closer to them. I for one work with people twice my age and who are lame as fuck. So I get on CR at work to talk to people more like myself. There are a few people here I consider "friends" in an unconventional sort of way. So if you feel like you lost a friend, it’s because you did…

  3. Wow,

This feels like a bad dream. Kenny was an Icon on CR and a good guy. For anyone who wants to talk shit, just remember that EVERYONE here is guilty of speeding at one point or another, and it could have just as easily been you or another loved one.

    RIP Friend.

No Shit! We should retire his avatar and name... WOW... And I thought this was another one of Sam's stupid R.I.P threads...

  4. Shouldn't this be moved out of this forum and put in the main one as a sticky?

Also, I have an idea, that I am not sure if I am out of line for bringing up, but what if we finished the El Camino as a tribute?

I was following that build in the project management section and looking forward to seeing it all back together.

As honorable as it sounds to help finish his car, I think we should leave it as is. I’m not sure if there would be enough commitment by everyone else to finish it and I would hate to see people start and not get it done. Maybe I'm wrong, but...

  5. I knew Kenny mostly by his avatar. I met him only a handful of times and he was just like he is on CR. Sarcastic, offensive, funny, and was always willing to share and talk cars with ya. I know there are a few threads on here where we both must have had BS days at work and we would just shot the shit on CR along with other members. Lunch time won't be the same. I can’t believe I’m tearing up thinking about him…

    RIP Kenny!

  6. why did u part out? slow or fast itll still be a bnlast this year.

Becasue I was tired of repalcing the trans after every track visit and it was also my DD so I decided to be smart and keep it that way rather then be with out a car for a week here and there. So when I get the extra $ I'm looking at a C5 Zo6 :D

  7. Yes I'm more then likley going to be one of the slowests this time around. if I can run 13's this year I'll be happy. I took out the cam, took off the headers, injectors, lowered the boost buy about 8 pound... I'm pretty much stock :( But I'd still love to get to the track. I've been wanting soo bad to get another car but $$$ right now sucks. So I'm going to run my slow GTP for fun.
  8. I try to think of a positive experience I've had with any cop, but I can't. I honestly can't.

Fuck - driving home from work yesterday I see a state patrolman behind a guy on the side of the road with his lights on. The guy is changing a tire, the cop is sitting in his car doing nothing.

    Awesome.

Providing light? Haha, I know what ya mean.

  9. Is there going to be an official post with the names of members who signed up for the CR track day? If not I’d like to see this happen so we can identify all the shit talkers in future threads…Discuss
  10. yup lets make it a call out thread woooo ur going dowwwwnnnnnn

tylur get ur shit fdixed so i can walk it

    i like lamp.

You're on! Lets race for $5K... But I get 2 cars, and we only do 15 rolls... and only when and where I say... Sorry, it's a GTP thing.
