  1. The track/ club that is sponsoring it has an interesting setup out in Clermont county. "Racing country club", like a golf club but with a kart track. Stopped in there a few years ago. Welcome.
  2. Saw a flyer for this in a UDF window this morning. Looks interesting. http://www.myfountainsquare.com/content.jsp?articleId=329 http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=155810327781774&index=1
  3. You need Brembohhhh. Track guy says so. Don't put those short levers on... (shuttup about the repost. I know it. You know it. Its still a great clip. 3:27-ish mark) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1OtVsIF3NA
  4. Do the folks who like the FZ8 also like the B-King? Just curious.
  5. Leave it outside, since everyone knows which apartments you live in (from your listing). Someone will take it, insurance pays you. Done. (I say this all in jest, of course).
  6. Even better than Ghost Rider from the UK. Why was traffic backed-up? There don't seem to be any traffic lights.... Hey, at least he's got his safety gear on. I'd crap myself if anyone passed me at that speed by splitting lanes.
  7. Good to see some recognition. I watch for your shop/ name in the articles about the bike and season, but rarely see it mentioned with the other sponsors. Disappointing.
  8. I was shopping a 350z a couple of years ago. Found a 2003/ 2004 that I liked, but on the test drive, couldn't get it into 5th gear. Lots of grinding if I tried. Got this same story from the seller. "This car has a lot of torque. The only time you use fifth is if you're getting on the highway, so I just skip it go from 4th to 6th. No wonder I never noticed that grind before". Uhmm, yeahhhhh. BuhBye.
  9. Yup. Headed to BD's now. Will they still call it "mongolian bbq" when there aren't any mongolians (mongols??) left to cook?
  10. I'm still curious as to why THAT title came to Brian when he posted. And how?
  11. The TLS got a reputation as an unpredictable tank slapper, but the consensus is that it was blown way out of proportion. I cursed Suzuki every time I had to do maintenance on that bike, under the tank, because of the hillbilly steering damper system the rigged up as an afterthought. Dennis: Uh oh. And he's hiding it at your place? I think he's pretty upside down on it, based on looking around.
  12. Love the photo with the WRX and dogs. It looks like a diorama. Must be the lighting or something. You HAVE to tell us what else you're looking at, to replace the RC. Slap some Redbull stickers on it and add $7k to the price.
  13. Year and mileage unknown. Just kind of looking for general impressions. Spent a good chunk of money on the TL suspension (rear shock, and had forks reworked). Loved the sound a power of the TL. I'm kind of looking at some Superhawks (when I sell the Mazda), but am wondering how similar it might be to the TL in terms of handling and seating position. I still love curves....
  14. My hands were sweating just watching that. Someone needs to put one of those pop-up screaming faces in the middle of that video. Hey man, if someone is willing to climb up there, OSHA shouldn't give a care about safety clipping/ harnesses. Those gloves looked slippery, though I'm not real sure what slippery gloves might look like. I'll stick with Drop Zone, or whatever KI will call it next year.
  15. Any input? Had a TL1000S for awhile. Had some gripes with it, but won't air those here so as not to contaminate/ skew the discussion. Any thoughts appreciated. Or just thoughts on one or the other in general. TIA Jeff
  16. Why was Reagan a horrible president?
  17. http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/mcy/1935045928.html They didn't waste anytime...
  18. They didn't. Obama did. Thus, "worst president in history", thus far.
  19. It must have pained Obama greatly to sign that bike, knowing that it was in any way supporting our military.
  20. I agree, its a great intro. Especially considering when it was made. Makes you wanna go out and hooliganize! Maybe its cuz of the two strokes....
  21. LOL Yeahhhhh. Uhm, you got me. Thats what I was worried about.
  22. Isaacs Papa: Suggestions? I don't like reallly dark beers, and not Ultra type stuff. Used to brew and drink some thick heavy beer with a Mr Beer kit. Fun, but I wasn't very scientific about it. I like the Yuengling Light a LOT. Just right for me. Maybe part of it is the forbidden fruit aspect. Next year, taking the Avalanche to SC instead of the Camry, just for the Yuengling.
  23. Loooove my 2003 Avalanche. Love it. Very versatile. Z66 rides like a car. No problems in the snow (its a 2WD with locking rear diff and traction control). Had a couple of 6-cyl 4Runners in the past, and they got the same mpg as my avalanche with a V8 in day to day driving (or at least not as much difference as one might think there should be). Except when towing, then the 'runner got horrible MPG. One had a TRD supercharger on it, and still couldn't pull well.
