  1. Okay, so spent a week in S. Carolina recently, and got reacquainted with Yuengling Light. Can't get it in OH, KY, or IN. Insanity. Considering a road trip to PA to fill the back of the pickup, BUT was hoping that someone on here was wiling to bring some closer. I'm between Dayton and Cincinnati, so it'd be about 5 hours each way, if I remember correctly. I know there's an OYL race at CRP this weekend, but not sure if any of the PA crew is coming this way. If anyone's willing to help me out, please let me know. Will cover gas or make other arrangements. Not asking for a truck full (though I wouldn't turn it away), of course. Thanks Jeff
  2. Heard a yellow R! yesterday (2009/ 2010??) with the long bang motor and aftermarket pipes. Insaaaaane. Truly an incredible sound. Scary.
  3. Uhm, maybe a stupid question: Do I need to insert a Micro SD card?
  4. Cool! So yours may be worth more than you thought it was. Good deal.
  5. Dunno. Looked at KBB, and the other stuff that was listed on CL. This is well below anything else listed. This is well within the KBB range between "fair" and "good". Many have about 85k miles and they're asking close to $10k. I wish that pricing was an exact science. What does your research suggest, Redkow? I always price things with some haggle room (and expect some when I buy cars and such). This is one of those tough price points where a potential buyer probably doesn't have full cash, and will need to get a loan, so I want to price it within "book parameters".
  6. Sign A Rama is a sponsor, I think. Checked with them?
  7. My sale. Runs like a top. http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/1952498021.html Jeff
  8. Which tool? A plate compressor, or pin pusher? The only one I have is the mini plate clamp. I try not to use it.... Between Spgboro and Wnsvl. Sorta. Jeff
  9. Shoulda told us you were leaving. Its hard to plan to steal your stuff if we don't know you're gone. Srsly, welcome back. Wondered why you hadn't piped up on awhile.
  10. Okay, did anyone follow through on this? I did. Bought two cams, and two fisheye lenses. Neither of the cameras work. Seller issued a refund for both (though I still lost about $12 for shipping). Pretty disappointed. Won't fully charge (according to the very interesting instructions), or do anything. Maybe I'm missing something. Jeff
  11. Was drooling on one today at Cycle Specialties in Cincinnati. Had some time to kill between appointments.... I like everything about the bike so far but haven't ridden one. Haven't seen one on the road, either. Theirs was black. I also saw the Suzuki Gladius, which I didn't know existed. Wasn't that one of the characters from 300? Love the headlight on the Gladius (kind of Brutale-ish), but think the chrome bars make it look cheapppppp, as do the plastic covers on the side. Love the z1000, but there are SO many used bikes available in the $3,500 to $5k range that I'd almost feel guilty buying a brand new bike, knowing how quickly they depreciate. Dunno. Doesn't matter, as I'm not buying soon. Unless I sell the Mazda.... "Look, Honey, I bought us a new bike! Like it? No, I can't sleep in it. Why??".
  12. Learned my lesson on this one. I've always thought it was "funny" that I test-drove cars before buying them (whether new OR used), but never a bike. Bought a KTM 625SMC off of a dealer without asking for a test ride. Awesome bike except for one thing: It vibrated so badly that it blurred my vision. Didn't get better with time, and had it back to the dealer, whom I trust, but he wasn't able to fix it. Sold the bike two years later with only about 2k on the clock. Won't make that mistake again. If I'm approved, and endorsed, I will ride the bike before buying it. Really did love the KTM except the vibration thing. On another note, if a car dealer lets you test drive a new car, is it then a used car? Because of 15 miles or so on the clock? I don't think most buyers would view it that way. Just my $.01 (used to be two cents, until the government decided that someone else was more deserving of half of my money).
  13. Wasn't this noted as a "sleeper" used bike to buy from one of the monthly motorcycle magazines? Not well-known, but supposed to be a great bike at a great price.
  14. Or giving the finger while dragging knee, then wheelying away with a hot track bunny on the back. And on shitires, to boot.
  15. http://dayton.craigslist.org/for/1934337060.html I'm not affiliated with this ad in any way.
  16. Crutchfield. Got a cheapo Kenwood for the Avalanche when the stocker gave up the ghost. Better than I had hoped. Remote control, aux input, removable face. Less than $100 if I remember correctly, with installation kit.
  17. Ordered from Comp Acc. My old Teknics finally got enough holes in them that I couldn't ignore them anymore. These are XXL, but actually closer to an XL. White with black and red accents. Still tethered together with all tags, bag, etc. Paid $153 plus shipping etc. Comp-A wants 10% restocking fee, plus it'll cost about $6 to send them back to them. Photo of gloves out of packaging are the set I'm keeping (3xl). Offering them here for $140, plus $5 shipping. Saving you about $15 on the pair ($153 + $6 shipping if you bought from CompA).
  18. This is all very sad. I love puppies, but sometimes can't eat a whole one by myself.
  19. Don't hate TG. Hate the book publisher. "No More Books! No More Books!....".
  20. If you're not using it, and don't enjoy it, sell it. But I agree, a Celica isn't really a performance car (unless you put a LOT of money into it). Can pick up a niiiice 350z relatively cheap (under 20k for a 2006/ 2007). Great car.
  21. Biggo. Make it worth your while: go at night. The fun really starts at darkfall. Its funny, cuz when you're walking around the place on Sat and Sun morning, nobody makes eye contact with anyone else. I had a hard time detoxing from Chilli after the couple of years that I went. For the week after the event, I kept expecting women in public to lift their shirts.
  22. Cash in hand. If they want to see it run, they can follow me in their car. Did this when I sold my TL1000, and worked fine. Too many stories of disappearing bikes. And you KNOW that if the rider crashes it, odds are they're not gonna fix it.
  23. For 97-2003 Suzuki TL1000R and TL1000S. I used to have an S, and bought this, but never installed it. Cost $15 new. Selling for $9 with free USPS shipping. Still in the box. PM if interested. Jeff
