  1. I would like to know more about this if you can go into more detail. I have a tons of Sales experience, and I've grown up with both parents in the Medical field. My mother being an retired RN, and my father being a Biomed, Y2K guy, and now IT soon to be going back to BioMed. So I've been around a lot of the medical side of things, but never been on the other side of it. This sounds like something I would like to do and any info you might have would be great. Thanks.
  2. Hey Kickass do you have any of the B5 S4's harness stuff? I could really use it since it sounds like I might use the B6 S4 harness unless the 02-03 A6 harness is plug and play.
  3. 2.7T http://www.audizine.com/gallery/data/500/IMG_7091r.jpg http://www.audizine.com/gallery/data/500/IMG_4760r.jpg VR6 http://www.034motorsport.com/gallery/d/8015-2/100_0041.jpg
  4. The engine bay is made to fit the 2.7T better then the VR6 motor. I've seen some VR6 fit into the bay, but most have to cut some of the front up. The 2.7T will look OEM when I get it into the bay. Plus it uses stock mounts. I just either need to move the snub mount or get a front core from a 3.0, but still not sure if the 3.0's is in the right spot.
  5. There is only one, but doesn't come with intake mani, fuel lines, exhaust mani's, and much more. http://www.audis4parts.com/product147.html
  6. The 3.0's have issues with boost it seems. So many people blow engines with the SC cause they can't make it run right still. Plus the SC is the only aftermarket thing you can do to the 3.Slows. Plus the 2.7's for the most part is cheaper too.
  7. Guess I need to update location cause I'm up in Lewis Center now. Still only 1 hour there and back so 2 hours total isn't bad.
  8. Well the main problem with this is that we don't really have many people around Columbus. I will try to see if any of the Cincy or Cleve guys might have any deals that I need to check out, but finding something local saves shipping and or gas picking it up. Something over in PA might be nice, but when this truck is loaded up it would cost me maybe 200 bucks with the mileage i'm getting with the extra weight I have in it right now. The 302 doesn't speak much in MPG if you know what I mean.
  9. Augies didn't have one listed right now, but if they come across them from time to time I can wait it out a little bit, but wonder if I can ask about keeping all the wires together to get an uncut harness that would really help instead of trying to replace later.
  10. The main thing I hear that is the problem is if the turbo or turboes going out. So I will make sure everything is good with those, but any other problems to look out for since you know more about the 2.7's then I do. Check in on the post from time to time. Thanks! Well I'm looking for quality for sure. If the price is right on a 6-speed setup I wouldn't mind buying both engine and trans to get the most out of it. Since the other place is local it would save me gas on my drive to pick it up in my 93 F-150 that loves to drink gas, but that is due to the 4 RR things giving me some grip in this weather we have been having.
  11. What is your name on the Zine? I'm the same if you didn't know that by now. Ever check out the Columbus thread on there? I know it is kinda dead now, but trying to get us all talking more.
  12. I have not tried local yards yet. I did look on car-parts.com finding one in Circleville for 1299 I think, but not sure if it is with the turboes or not. I just wanted to see if any local on here could find the place to work a deal to make this happen. An B6 A4 with the power of the B5 S4 is the perfect swap I feel. Maybe next year I could do the K04's too. Here is the link I have going with two if the swaps. Two of the three links have the same Black car in them. http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/408488-Lets-talk-more-about-the-2.7T-swap
  13. Who that we know even carries Audi engines in the yards? I saw you guys helping others out on body parts, but can you get engines too? I'm still tossing around the idea of droping a 2.7T into my '03 Audi A4 1.8T 5-speed. It has been been getting easier with more people doing it now. I would also like the engine harness and the ECU from A6 2.7T or even B5 S5 S4's. The A6 will offer lower miles and the newest 2.7 model if we can find it. Thanks.
  14. You bring up a good point... Most people have a ton of blankets on there beds due they sleep cold due to pressure points not allowing blood flow in the lower areas of the body. With a tempur bed you only really need a thin throw or light blanket. No down covers or heating pads needed.
  15. When you get your new personalized plate they give you a little printed thing to stick in the rear window. I did that the 2nd day I owned my Audi.
  16. Very nice! I have my Grandfathers Gen 1 of this same model.
  17. Just checking in about the watch. I've been needing a watch and I always wanted a TAG. Thanks! Also IVRINGS@yahoo.com might get us talking faster if you can get with me.
  18. Any other pics? Maybe the back also?
  19. Buy nice or buy twice is our rule. There are some people that pay that kinda money on here for wheels, but you use your bed 6-8 hours a night for 20 years with Tempur. Per day use it is very cheap. Coffee on the go, Eatting out once or twice a month, the news paper, cable TV all have a higher cost per day then any model Temper if you think about it.
  20. In the summer you can notice it more, but in the winter it doesn't do it as much. On the Cloud models and down you can take the cover off it and wash it with your own landry stuff to help lessen the smell since it is held more in the cover then anything. Otherwise some baking soda or fresh cut apple on a plate with the doors closed helps. It is mainly due to the bed being in a bag sealed and in a box sealed. Most models are always very fresh with a turn over of 2-3 weeks at most on popular models. When I ordered mine via a employee type deal I got mine just days after it was made.
  21. x2 I had to be tested since my eyes would not open after swimming in the city poll. They gave me some stuff so I could if I had to get in. Otherwise we could go to pulls that used other stuff. My newphew can't have cows milk peroid. I was shocked on how many things have real milk in them. Also you can do blood testing to, but I think it cost more but I don't know costs of these things.
  22. You can ask for a Tempur-pedic room upgrade at some of the nicer places. Just look around since more and more places are coming around since they don't have to replaced as much.
