  1. Enjoy the triple nickel. It really is a fun road. I may see you guys in Lancaster on Sunday.
  2. I am in Canal. If you can ride early weekend mornings I can show you some pretty cool roads. Unfortunately work gets in the way of riding the rest of the time.
  3. I am going to do both days. Since this would be my first track day I would be more of a liability to you. With Dub & My you already have 3 bikes to haul. I will think of something. Most likely I will see yo guys up there.
  4. Brian, any word on the alternate dates for the rainouts? Currently I am down for July 21. That is a big delay from April 25. I am getting desperate enough to contemplate hitching a ride and taking my own bike.

    Ringo ride 5-20-2011

Hey JAGR if you want company let me know. Love the SEO runs. And I am usually back in Canal by 1:30 or so.
  6. Madcat, not clear on what you are saying. Are you looking for a ride or you have space for a second bike? I have a truck but no trailer. I would be interested in doing the two days in June. I can stay with friends a few minutes from the track. Of course if you are hauling I will take care of the gas.
  7. :hello:Welcome. The heck with posting. Get out there and ride!!
  8. I can not believe this. I have been rained out for both 4/25 and 5/2. So June first it is. That poor lady at Mid Ohio keeps calling and making apologies, like as if she had any control over mother nature. The sad part is that I keep getting pumped up for nothing.
  9. Damn, Bubba you are old:bow:. Hell at 56 I am just a youngster. Cotton picking kids!!!
  10. I will be there on Monday, can't wait!

Does anyone remember the hiarchy of functions? Instead of a math teacher ask a second grader.

    Sunday ride

Sorry Hutch got to bail on you. I will be home by 1:30. I think a quick back road run to Middleport and breakfast at Millie's is in order. An even more twisty serving of rads on the way home. I will be leaving from Carroll by 8:00AM. You guys be safe and good luck!
  13. I think you have a consistent theme going. Seat time. I assume that you are an experienced driver and traffic does not bother you in a car. Correct! What you need is to keep riding the parking lot and back roads until you have real confidence in your ability to ride. When you do not have to think about riding, you are ready for the traffic.

    Wanted suit (46)

Sorry I tend to not to be patient. Should have held out a bit longer. But the deed is done. Are you selling the Joe Rocket suit?
  16. Alone about 80 %. In a group I keep up for the most part. Do not have much group riding experience. Ditto for the CSBA rides. John does a good job of planing. Regardless do not over commit to the corner, you are on a public road. Once I had two large dogs just laying in the middle of the road on a blind curve. Thank god, no gravel so I could avoid them. Rule of thumb 1/4 to 3/8 inch chiken strip is just right for the street.
  17. I would like to get some feed back from the experienced folks on here. I am going to do my first track day. To save my sanity, I am thinking about signing up for one of the KTM days.(4/25). They supply everything but the personal gear and include coaching. I just have to show up and learn. What do you guys think? Any experience with the orange guys??

    Wanted suit (46)

IP was a good tip. I found a Fieldsheer 1-piece for less than $300. There are two size 46s left. Its a bit on the colorful side but should work just fine. Thanks again!

    Wanted suit (46)

Thanks, I will check IP. From what I remember there is not much as far as 1 piece suits go.

    Wanted suit (46)

Just needs to be functional. Try to get in my first novice day at Mid-O. Any leads would be appreciated.
  21. Try McDorman in Canal Winchester. The back lot is huge and he may go along with it. Another suggestion is the old value city parking lot in Lancaster. Wide open with only a few lamp posts to inflict pain. There is always AD-Farrow but, you know (harleys??)
  22. Still riding when the sun is out.
