  1. That was hilarious...Some can get pretty intense about their Jeeps at times. I am a Jeep owner so I get waved at on the bike, and when I am in the Jeep...
  2. A bit of overkill...you think???
  3. Congratulations on the baby...Welcome back...GO STEELERS!!!
  4. Starting to look like 2011 will be another real tough year for the Power Sports businesses...
  5. Contact J Copeland, and see if his 675 is still available, it was never actually reported as sold. That is a completely unmolested used bike, and a night and day difference from your current bike...If it is still available, you might want to seriously make him a sound reasonable offer! http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=62917&highlight=triumph+675&page=4
  6. Welcome to the site! Tried the HD thing myself (2007 Night Train), wasn't for me...
  7. Welcome to the site!
  8. I find Compacc's closeout deals to be very reasonable. This is what I recently ordered from them. http://www.compacc.com/p/Shark-RSI-Helmet-Titan-Graphic-X-Large-Only-Closeout
  9. If an accident would have occurred, would you have stopped? If you chose to stop, would you have written the report the same as you originally posted here? I think I already know the answer to one or both...You might be a bit surprised how the Courts would have ruled on who was also at fault, if they received the same statement's that was posted by you here. Don't forget to mention the act which caused your anger, you followed by repeating the very same act to the vehicle in front of you (which is all too common today), at least from what you stated here...The vehicle in front of you was the only one innocent, the only one who would have been the victim, not you!!! Your right, you have made this debate meaningless, and the fact that nobody was injured, or no actual accident occurred, all of this is nothing more than a bunch of "what ifs"! Enjoy your day, and drive safe...
  10. Jst2fst, I have been in the Insurance business...You have no friends when it comes to business...Why so many people look at their insurance person as their friend, just amazes me...They might be your friend outside of work, but not when your policy is laying in front of them...I am not saying it can't exist, but trust me, it is very rare today!!! Shop around for yourself, outside of the family friend, you will be glad you did! Probably most of the advice given in this thread is from past experiences, only to help you avoid issues others have seen and experienced, not to discourage you in any way, but only to help you to not make a bad decision...You might want to drop the guard a bit, and listen up...Even though the majority will not confess to such, in fear of being labeled as a hypocrite, the only way they can know is from some type of life experience, if not then they are just being "know it alls", decipher the nonsense, there is some good advice being shared with you here! I myself have made some poor decisions in purchasing motorcycles over the years...I always thought I needed the most up to date, the fastest, the coolest, for the longest time, that caused me some serious financial lose throughout the years...Trust me I still want these things, but now I show a bit of discipline and realize I do not need it, nor will I ever use it. Think what does your current bike do for you, and how are you using it, if you are not satisfied with it, you need to find out why, what is missing, and what do I actually need, then decide on the motorcycle you are truly needing...If it is solely for show and bragging rights, then all this great advice everyone is willing to share with you is no more than meaningless, if that is the case buy what you want, how you want, and pay what you want, it is simple! If you truly are into riding and experiencing all of the fun and excitement motorcycling has to offer, which it took me a long time to gather myself, but I am a slow learner, you will open your eyes and consider some of the great motorcycles available to you outside of the super sport style models...Sure you might not have the bragging rights or the status among some you ride with or are friends with, but that is only because they don't get it yet!!! Best of luck with your decision, enjoy the new bike, and ride safe!!!
  11. Why have enemies when you have your Brother... A:beating: is in order! Good luck with the sale!

    SV1000S 2

Thanks...I hope it ends up being a great bike, still trying to get it broke in right now, and the weather is not helping at all.
  13. Not sure on the SV yet, I have not had a chance to ride it much...When the Buell runs I really like it, but the Z1000 is the all around go to bike...Always starts, always runs, and offers some serious fun!

So far the Z1000 has never let me down, not necessarily my favorite, but I have ridden it the most of the three.

My 1125R ,lets just say it has been a disappointment for me so far!!!

  14. Benny's Pizza 968 Columbus Rd. Marysville, OH. Not just pizza, good food. http://www.bennyspizza.com/
  15. I usually would not get any of my bikes out due to the salt still being on the roads, but as expected I have no discipline when there is a bike setting in the garage I have hardly ridden... I finally got to ride the SV for a decent amount of time today, great day to ride...The SV has a little pep to it...LOL!!!
  16. +1... A dollar amount, or at least a ballpark figure could help tremendously in the search.
