You'll be fine with XL, that's what I wear with A* and I think we are of a similar build. I'll be interested in hearing how you like the SMX-1's, I just bought a new pair of gloves last week because my SMX-2's fell apart on my last ride (thumb wore through completely and stitching came undone on the same thumb). I ended up with some Scorpion leather short-cuff gloves. Hoping they work out, though I may have bought a size too small... depends how much they stretch. I was in-between sizes (XL and XXL).
The A*s are comfortable as hell but the build quality on the last pair scared me off a bit. Hope the SMX-1's are better in that regard.
Ohhh, that's the fun part of 77 I always wished I was on my bike for every time I drove down to Savannah...
I'll be taking 16 into town the day before anywho. Good luck buckaroos.
Or just keep the daytona for track, buy a used multistrada for cheap and have best of both worlds.
i bet you can even pull your track trailer + bike with the multi.
that sucks dude, I hope everything turns out OK.
If I can get that Friday off (it's likely at this point), I'd be down to meet you somewhere in the AM. Are you taking the typical 83-->south of 70 route to the goodness? Or something else.
I thought Monday was going to be really busy at work so I wrote off the track day. The busy ended up getting pushed to today, so I sat at my desk doing busy work all yesterday. Should have gone to the track, lol.
Also,
Put center stand back on the Triumph.
Installed new brake pads on front of the Triumph.
Repaired disintegrating seat with gaff tape, need to pick up a Sargent or Corbin next year.
To do on Triumph before Fall Gap Trip:
Oil change
Top off coolant
Install trailer hitch and buy trailer to haul all 37 spare batteries
