  1. Figuratively means literally and vice versa. Didn't you learn this at 21'st century school?
  2. http://www.break.com/video/drag-race-stalls-and-becomes-foot-race-3006421 hopefully not repost
  3. I should be able to make it.
  4. Damn Ryan, that's a nice portfolio you're building.
  5. El Vaquero - A Mexican place on 33 and Trabue. Menu: http://www.vaquerorestaurant.com/#!bebidas/c19fp Old Bag of Nails - Heard of this place but never been. Menu: http://www.oldbagofnails.com/menu/ CBC or Smokehouse are the only ones I know about that brew their own stuff in-house, at least on the west side.
  6. Scary, or a typical Saturday night? I'd be wary of all the people driving like maniacs in close-ish quarters like that, unless there are wardens or something patrolling the trails. Barring that, it certainly looks like fun. I miss ATVing/snowmobiling.
  7. There are a few places at Barley's that are good for a larger group of 10+, including a patio outside if the weather is nice. Food is typical burger-house fare... ribs, wings, all that kinda stuff. Also sour kraut balls and dip.
  8. Smokehouse's food isn't 5-star but it's not bad and they do their own in-house beers and such. There's also Columbus Brewing Company (restaurant, closer to downtown), Matt The Millers (Dublin), Hofbrau, and uh... yeah.
  9. After all my deductions (not many) and so on, I ended up paying about 30% of my income in taxes last year. Not sure what you have to make in order to be paying this mythical 15-20% but I'd like some.
  10. It's amazing to me that in this day and age there are still so many people in positions of power completely clueless about technology and how it functions. This makes the select few in that same position who know exactly how things function extremely dangerous.
  11. Sure. I'll be doing the loading in Columbus the night before then heading out early morning more than likely. Can work out the details between now and then.
  12. 79"x 28" according to wiki. actually thinner than my (apparently) chunky striple at 79"x 28.9".
  13. 2 bikes on my trailer seems possible. Proof:
  14. ahhh, exactly what I need. Thanks Brian.
  15. Getting trailer situated for the drive down. New hitch being put on vehicle (old one rusted out last winter, can't be repaired), wood decking on trailer, wheel chock, fixing all the broken crap on it from loaning it to somebody I shouldn't loan things I like to remain working to... May have room for 1 more bike on it all said and done, will be a tight fit though (4x7 trailer).
  16. I will be cycling and working on core/lower body strength and flexibility. Who needs upper body strength anyway?
  17. team sports are lame, bet already lost.
  18. Yes, face-punchable so you had to be careful. Vernacular must have changed by the time I hit the 6th grade back in 96. God damn millennials.
  19. This is common middle school* playground knowledge. homeschooled? *cue "you hang out at middle school playgrounds often?" witty retort
  20. considering getting tagged is getting slapped in the balls... unless that was a clever insult.
  21. Was looking at either a Mazda or a Subie, though I've heard the CrossTrek has some issues and I want something small-ish that can tow.
  22. Any parts replaced will go on the report, more than likely. I think I'll stay away from GM/Chrysler for my somewhat imminent new vehicle.
  23. Thanks Tim, I'll know more in March. I don't want to leave my dear uncle high and dry if he ends up getting back from Deutschland in time for the dragon trip.
