Depending on what the weather looks like saturday (and possibly regardless of the weather saturday) I may head out for a ride this Friday. I'll either be heading up towards Coshocton again or possibly down towards hocking hills.

Gotta love getting your 40 hours in during the first 3 days of the week, right?

is the duc dry clutch? is there much of a difference between operating a dry/wet clutch bike?

Hey guys, I checked out a bit of the loop today and (we) retraced a good bit of the Epic Ride route... the western portion of 541 (west of 79) is in pretty bad shape, I would avoid it. Really gravelly out there too just in general because of all the rain. 260 and 26 down near Marietta were in pretty good shape but again, random gravel patches in corners and apparently some of 26 (north of 260 intersection) is 100% closed to traffic. There are were also cops EVERYWHERE. Two of our members WHO SHALL REMAIN UNNAMED got picked just ahead of me, though luckily they were only let off with a warning. I saw at least 5 state troopers / HWP on 62, and then another 4 or 5 throughout the remainder of the day. They are probably out in force since it's a holiday weekend coming up so I would advise against pushing triple digits.

I won't be out tomorrow because of prior plans but if you guys do get out, I wish you a good ride!

I seem to have picked up something akin to the flu from a co-worker for this weekend so I'm probably going to have to table this for another time.

No real day planned yet, that's why I made this thread. So July 3rd is on the table as a possibility if the weather is nice; I have that day off work.

So it seems most people post up a planned ride/route on a specified date and it occurred to me that maybe creating a thread to help organize some spur of the moment rides may be helpful if people want to post up saying they are looking for a group to ride with but don't have any specific plans or any real time set yet. If this thread catches on, great. If it doesn't, feel free to mock me and all that I stand for, though I assume this will happen irrespective of the thread's outcome.

I'll start:

I'd like to get something together on the next nice weekend day and probably head either up towards Coshocton or down towards Hocking Hills / Wayne National Forest. Any takers? I don't mind planning the route if so. Pace will depend on the group.

fogo is good. expect to spend at least $50 on food alone though. the smoked salmon in their salad bar is pretty amazing...

no idea, never been to a strip joint. as with anything I would check old friend google. 

The pace worked out for me too, since I was able to give you guys a 5 minute rest at each turn-off point.
