Never mind I figered it out, I was trying to use a google maps short link, those wont work I had to use the long version of the link.

Do you have to plan you route in the coverter or can you import a link from google maps?

I downloaded mine to my phones internal memory, they defaulted to the Documents file. I then hooked up my phone to my Computer via USB and opened one window to phones SD card where the Sygic itinerary folder is and another window to my phones internal download document file and just click and drag.

Ok my brain hurts now but I'm all uploaded, updated and downloaded...in terms of maps that is. Sygic is ready to rock!

Now, that is better. Time to load some maps. Guess it was a 32G card I bought not a 64, all switched over and pics loaded on out mass storage.

We have a 1TB SS external HD we put everything on and it gets locked up in the fire safe at home. I need to just transfer everything on it I'm just lazy...lol...maybe ill get-r-dun tonight.

Well this is the same SD card Ive had for probably 6 or 7 years(maybe longer) and when I got it I transferred all my pics and videos over from my previous cards. There is something like 3500 pictures and over 100 videos, maybe 500 or 600 songs. I just never delete anything..LOL I have kids that are into sports and school activities and I just use my phone for everything when It comes to pictures. I thought about just clearing it out and putting everything on my external HD which I probably will do but the wife needed a new card because her phone only has a 8G in it and I was going to give her the 16G, so I ordered the 64G

I really need to switch out my SD card in my phone. It only has a 16G in it and once I loaded the Ohio map for Sygic it was full. I bought a 64G card months ago and have never switched it out, still sitting on my dresser in the package. Then again I love getting lost with no data service it can de fun sometimes.

Stayed up late but I just financed my trip. Sold all of my "I'm not a teenager anymore" car audio stuff to a guy I meet at a gas staton parking lot after aranging it on a FB yard sale page. Lol

Some of the reviews I read say the smx-1 are built better than the 2's on durability. That's what happens to my old JR gloves they are pulling apart at the seams in the fingers

Well I ordered the A* gloves, I messaged Mike at RD and he was a few bucks cheaper but wasn't 100% I'd have them by Thursday so I ordered them on Amazon with prime and will have them by Wednesday. I ordered just the XL because of reviews and Anthony's video on Revzilla say they are more of an american cut than the previous A*'s. So with that I have everything I need to roll Friday right after work. Just need to pack my bathroom stuff.

I have a Tourmaster Saber 3 jacket and I rode in a pouring thunderstorm on the freeway and never slowed below 60mph for about a hour last year. And the only thing that was wet was around my collar because my neck isn't as fat as it use to be. But also my bike offers much more protection. I also have tourmaster overpants.

Rain gear is over rated. Last several years I've been wearing touring gear with build in rain protection. It's breathable so it does not get too hot with panels that unzip. I've stayed dryer with just that than I ever have with slip on rain gear And on really hot trips I'll just wear mesh with dry fit shorts and shirts on underneath that drys quickly. I pack more thermal stuff now and leave the rain BS at home, even my thermal is just a jacket liner and my heated vest.

I couldn't load the full site on my phone till recently. Like it was stuck in mobile view. I couldn't use the chat is the only reason I knew. But I can now.

Yup I dont have that issue, my wifes rides her own turd. Even when we went to Niagara together in July my top box only had snacks and drinks in it.

Meh it works. Not sure of the volume of my side cases but my helmet will fit in any of my bags.

Mine is little 39L, wanted a bigger one but when you find a used one that matches your bike for 1/3 the cost you jump on it.

Yea I think my side bags are a little bigger than the FJR and you can damn near put my side bag inside one of yours. Hate Engine > All others on this trip volume wise.

Im pretty sure Cortech and Tourmaster are the same company. The Cortech Impluse ST gloves also catch my eye.
