I carry plenty too, insulated cold weather gortex, light weight rain glove and a back up to my warm weather. My only problem is I'mve been wearing my back up all season that I wear 90% of the time. Thought I had till spring to replace them.

Mine aren't real bulky just worried they will be too warm when the temps break onto th e 70s. Have been considering the A* smx-1 air. Just concerned about the fit I know some say order A* a size bigger. Don't think I'll have time to run down to the pony any this week.

Only thing I realized I needed yesterday were warmer socks and a new pair or warm weather gloves(mine are shot). Got some wool socks at walmart and might just try to squeeze this last trip out of my old gloves. Worst case I toast them on the second day and have to wear my cold weather gortex gloves the rest of the trip. I have time to get another pair but just don't know what I want. I love the JoeRocket Phoenix gloves ive had but only getting one to two seasons out of them(on my 3rd pair in 4 years)and they don't have a tech finger.

Should be a good game, Buckeyes are ranked #2 and Badgers #11. It's at 8pm its ABC's primetime game of the week so most places should have it televised. I checked on the Tenn and VT game time because the locals will want to watch those and they are earlier games so those places should be cleared out by that time.

Yup I dropped it like a bad habit..literally. Pop up ad's took over my phone and I linked it back to a Tapatalk bug. Was told to clear all my apps data to clear it up and when I did that I lost all my settings and login info from all the other sites I used on it. So that was the final Straw for me, soon after I uninstalled it and changed all my passwords.

Any other Buckeye fans on this trip? Maybe we can find a place with in walking distance that will have the game on. Looking at Google maps there is a Hooters, OCharlys and a Applebee's near by. One of them should have the game on.

First off glad your okay. I'm going to guess here. Was it the east bound down hill with the incredible view on the right side with the decreasing left radius and the pull off parking area in the middle of the next right hander at the bottom? It would be just after the loose gravel sign

The ones for my bike had a part number change from Kawi. When I got the first one with the new part number it felt lighter and looking at the filter media on the inside it looked thiner and less corrugations. That's when I noticed on the side "made in china", the old part number one I took off the bike that day said "made in Japan". But they still charged the same price. I another note the K&N I buy say "made in mexico" but they do seem a better quality

Well I used to use only OEM filters on my bike but then Kawi went cheap and started having them made in China and the quality went to shit. Been using K&N ever since no problems in 20k miles. Should I look into other options? I refuse to use the fram tin cans.

Sweet, for the ones that don't know, have tolls or easypass ready for the strech of the turnpike we'll be hitting Saturday morning.

Sounds like a plan. Yea with the group size might make for a tighter time restraint.

Just glanced at the map for Saturday and maybe its been talked about already but do you think there is time to do 421(The Snake) and stop at the Shady Valley Country Store then just shoot up 91 to321 to J.C. would cut out some freeway and hit a couple nice roads.
