  1. Confirmed with my coworker Friday that he's still willing to cover me even if he has to work a double that day and he said yes. so still planning on heading down to Parkersburg Friday afternoon/evening. Was going to go for a ride yesterday morning a found a nail in my rear tire, right in the center. Just goes to show how a preflight inspection saved a potential bad day from happening. Tire was still holding full air pressure too, but I always spin my wheel around looking for things that aren't right. So I spent yesterday pulling the tire off the rim and inserting a plug/patch then gave her a good bath since its only had 2 that whole season. Today I'll give her a complete go over in preparation for this trip. I haven't even looked at the routes for this trip yet, but I'm betting ive been on all these roads at least once or twice this year alone. Only thing I might add is if we get to the hotel fairly early on Saturday I might take off from the hotel and do some exploring around that area till it gets dark. Will all depend on how the day goes. this will probably be it for me this year. Most likely come home and park her for the winter once we get back. Got way too much going on the end of Oct and into Nov.
  2. Well I did it, got that 250lb monkey off my back. Lost 7 pounds this last week doing what I said I was going to do. Think I will stick with it through this week to make sure it stays locked in and take a couple more lbs off and hit the 50 lbs lost since February bench mark. Then it will be back to the regularly scheduled program. Here we go again....
  3. I have never EVER put lock tight on a pinch or axle blot. And I've been changing tires for 20 years. Even when properly torqued I find that those bolts are hard enough to get loose on the next change and never had one come loose.
  4. Plug/patched my rear tire, and washed the old bitch. Tomorrow I'll give her the go over for the upcoming gap trip. Also got the wifey's bike cleaned up, oil changed and plugged into the tender for her long winter nap. There is a 98% chance it won't move till spring.
  5. If Ryan can't help you there is a guy just north of Fredericktown I can give you the info for. He charges $15 per wheel off the bike (just taking the wheels to him)
  6. I know he dosnt do the mobile any more, pretty sure he still has the set up at his house in Marysville but could be wrong I'll give him a tag and see if he shows if not I'll shoot him a text. @Hoblick
  7. Think most of the big bore stockers are putting out around 100 to 120 at the crank. The way they are geared with the primary and belt drive knocks that down a lot. Last dyno day I went to the average HD was around 75 to 85 at the wheel. Most of those are tuned with a pipe and some kind of air filter set up. I think the guys with the screami by eagle set ups are around 100 at the wheel but they have dropped thousands for such little gains, but usually have some impressive torque numbers.
  8. These are exactly the things I want to hear. Thanks so far and keep them coming.
  9. You have itialian sexy juice going for you. They have old ladies with pancake titties..lol
  10. That's got to be entertaining. Watch a bunch of HD bubbys dyno their bikes and tell the operator his machine is broken because their $30k bike only put down 75 HP at the wheel...lol
  11. I want a Motus so bad. Maybe one day when I'm not poor.
  12. I'm sick of wearing glasses, I hate them with a passion. So I was thinking of having lasik eye surgery next year but I need to get on the ball now. I will need to know how much for starters to add to my health care flex spending account during open enrollment coming in in a month for next year. So I need to get in for some consultation's and see if I'm a good candidate or not. So let me hear what you all know. The good, the bad ,the ugly I want to hear it all. Like to hear referral's and the dos and do nots. I currently wear single vision lenses and have a slight astigmatism. I live in central Ohio about a hour north of CBUS, 40 min from Newark and 20 min from mansfield. AND GO......

  16. Got my Yuasa AGM on amazon(for my C14) for way cheaper than everywhere else they are the best ones on the market in my opinion. Can't complain about bike master either the one in my wife's vstar is 4 years old and still going, but it's a big battery too. But I think generally they are cheapos.
  17. Asians don't drive bow ties they drive Ferds. WTF is wrong with you?
  18. What do you think @Tonik? Not sure it's bikemaster's fault?
  19. I'd love to do a trip like this. Hit me up early next year and I'll see if I can fit it in.

  22. Creole, Blacken and Fajita seasonings and chilli powder have been my gotos.. I agree lots of flavors make meals more fulfilling. I make a mean rotisserie chicken with chili powder and olive oil.
