I loved the ratcheting strap on my Nolan unfortunately when I went to the Shoei I lost that. So I went with the Echo quick release latch and like it for the most part. It can be a little difficult with thick gloves on but far easier than the D rings. Also I put a zip tie through the d rings to keep them from rattling tohether.

My wife never expects aything for any anniversary or hallmark holiday's or birthdays non of that crap. She see them a waste of time, money and resources. So anything I do on occasion is usually really special because flowers or any of the usual gifts my wife finds tacky and a waste.

Got my 20th anniversary coming up next year. Trying to plan a trip somewhere. Probably end up being another cruise.

It's called the "Tin Anniversary" for 10 years.

I know shawn isn't, he has an anniversary he's putting on that I might go to. Not sure about the other degenerates.

That will never happen, my mileage burner trips is what I look forward to. I do most of my OR surf'n at work. I hate my job because I'm always there, but honestly I don't do much while I'm there. I get more breaks than a man should really get and I usually spend them on the computer killing time. And I could really care less if folks hate me, I'd rather it be that way than deal with people being fake to me.

I'm not sure about myself, but if you honestly don't know why these gents were picked from the bunch you obviously don't know the life blood of this forum and what they have or can contribute. If I had to choose of the other 4 who I would vote for. Id have to give it some thought I can see why they all have been chosen. And yes I'm in the Clique, it's the OR family clique. Like to think of you all as my brothers and sisters and like to call you all friends. FIRST...Glad youR OK and sucks about the bike. I tend to take a lot of backgravel roads myself on the C 14. Been in some pretty hairy predicament but nothing I couldn't get out of. Not Defending Your hillbilly buddie but being six-foot-four probably has helped me and a couple of these predicaments. But I will continue to explore these Back Country Gravel Roads. Because that is where is see and find the coolest shit. Plus I like the looks on the faces of the guys in the four wheel drive Jeeps in the Enduro bikes when I wave at them when they go the other way. I've probably logged a couple hundred miles of dirt roads this year alone. I think it''s a blast, just have to be careful, and always consider an Escape Route.

I actually ate at the Arby's across the way from Lori's after I left the bucket. Trying to stick to the diet all I wanted was protein and roast beef minus the bun is perfect for that. Drinking beer tonight so I wanted it to be a carb light day. Took 821 to dexter city and 339 into beverly after that. It's now beer:30 but the bubbys aren't back from their ride yet.

I'm at the bucket now taking a breather, still need to stop for lunch somwhere.
