  1. unless your 6'4" 280lbs. then more is a necessity
  2. i see huge potential, for the ones that want a touring base with out the huge displacements
  3. ill try to remember in the morrow too. been work buokuo OT the last couple of weeks hard to get anything done
  4. I know starting over is hard but if you have to look for something in packaging and or food product manufacturing. No matter what the economy is doing everyone still has to eat and you have to have a box to put it in. Seems like there are always maintenance type jobs open in my company but they always hire those from within. I feel your pain about the holier than thou supervisors that were once fuck offs we have several of those too. Nothing is guaranteed but too hope I'm set for at least ten more years but you never know.
  5. Oh I can get it up, just don't know what to do with it when I do..Whaaaat?
  6. My personal opinion, buy what you want and what you will be comfortable on and learn to contain yourself till your abilities are up to what the bike can do. I totally under stand where every one is coming from with start slow and small but if your not excited about what you have whats the point. Just because a 600rr might have 110HP dose not mean you have to use it, that's where you have to learn to control yourself. I learned on a Gsxr750 and i did fine, one of my friends bought a busa as his 1st and is a great rider and never been down. you just have to be smart about what ever you choose, if you have no self control go small, but you will quickly grow out of it and want a upgrade. Like i said jusy my opinion. If you was a recomendation from me; based on your size and assuming your wanting a sport bike i'd say the SV650 or a ninja 650r or the fz6r, decent sized bikes with mid to moderate range(no aggressive) power, that you wont out grow for several years.
  7. Dress for the crash not the ride
  8. I was suprised with my TL when i had it done a couple years ago. With 40K on the clock and at 15 years old, after valve adjustment and repacking the cans it put up 124hp so she lost almost nothing over the years. K&N and full yoshi's where the only upgrades every thing else was stock, even the map. I bet your ol' duc still got it all too
  9. wonder how many pulls like that it can possibly take with out grenading the engine.
  10. It will also greatly depend on your build, how tall and heavy you are in my opinion. A 6'4" 260 lbs man isnt going to learn very well on a 300 or 250 and expect it to fit him. The 650 twins would be great for most any build person, and still not outgrow it too fast. And the class is a great start http://www.motorcycle.ohio.gov/
  11. I watched it in tapatalk so I didn't seen any titles or video descriptions
  12. Not really..lol..that's what Google is for when it comes to a stock bike
  13. I too was trying to find the spectacularism here. Not bashing anything but what am I missing?
  14. The low profile one has a separate battery pack that you have to mount on the back of the helmet, the smh10 is self contained, and I don't think the boom Mic is available with it.
  15. Get with Nate at Riders Discount for the best price.
  16. Sena is awesome I love mine, they have great support and customer service. they just release the new firmware for the smh10 and lots of new cool features
  17. I don't even own a bike with a chain anymore. LoL.Connie and the wife's V Star are shaft drive.
  18. Just seems like a lot of people do it just because "all the cool kids are doing it"..lol..me personally I want the chain to be as strong as it can be, I dont care if im on a 250 or a 1400. If I want to shave a few pounds ill go take a good healthy one before I ride
  19. If it's the 4th i know I won't be doing a tire, won't need it yet. But still might come for the gang bang.
  20. Always thought the conversion was stupid on any street bike. Why purposely make the chain weaker just to save a couple pounds.
