Hey @Blitz think my plans are changing. I'm now looking to spend a few days going down and visiting with some friends in the way. Also going to meet up with some Connie guys on that way. I'll know for sure in a few days. But looks like for now I'm canceling the oiginal plan. Figured I'd let you know now to give you a couple week to figure out some alt plans.
Lubed cables on the wind screen mechanism. Bleed the rear brake and clutch slave. Gave the new Neotec 2 its maiden voyage and so far loving it. So much quieter than the original neo. Adjusted the LED headlights lower to keep people from flashing brights at me.
I have these debates with people all the time. The usual reply is on the lines of "YOLO" from them. Well when I'm in my early 50s winding down my time in the work place and they are just starting to save for anything in the future I'll have my "i told you so" moment I guess.
Well my time share is out the the question for a group thing next year. Just booked spring break with the family in March. But the whole house thing would be a dandy ideay. If we get enough people.
Lets see here, I don't think I spent $600 for the entire week. And that's food, gas and light shopping for 3 people. Now with out my time share that might have been $700-$800 more but still way cheaper than any all-inclusive anything,
Just a liiittttle bit of body roll But I tell you what for the big heavy girl she is, she handled very nicey on those roads. Used the paddle shifter on the console A LOT. Even keep up with a group of Focus ST's that were railing around. Just kept telling the wife "if you get sick just remember it's your car"
Ran into an old friend down here last night and he said 60 and 68 from 129 to telico has mostly been repaved. Also said the good parts of 28 from Franklin to 74 have been paved. I might check out that bit today.
