So my work is allowing 3rd shift to work 11p to 7a Wednesday morning for the holiday (the 4th) to give them the evening of the 4th off. (the 5th). Well my counter part on that shit just turned in a request for a pre planned Dr. appointment for the 4th of July. Which means I now have to come in and cover half his shift for the 4th (3a to 7a). So no holiday off for me . He must have one of those rare nocturnal Doctors that works Holidays.

Got home around 5:30 checked out and stopped in the camp ground to give Dan one last send off left at about 11. Traffic was thick as hell coming up I75 but still moving quick. Myself and few other vehicles got into a pack and were hauling ass through Kentucky. Taking out my 2 stops I made it home in 5 1/2 hours moving time google says it should take 6hr 40min. 2100 miles total for me. Only rain I rode in all week was 5 min worth Monday night and a sprinkle here and there. Great trip as usual. Great roads , great company and much needed R&R. Thanks y'all.

Doing some slow rolling today by myself. Found a awesome road..just a little bit of gravel. Stoped at WTT and now Carvers for a trout lunch.

WARNING...... For the ones coming down BRP avoid the section between I-26 and us-276 they are tar and chipping it and it sucks ass down to one lane Long delays and the gravel sucks equally as bad.

Just a couple corners on the first down hill were fresh paved and slick on the 90 degree day I rolled through. I think there were 3 of them and the first one marked with a "no edge lines" sign. Other than that 16 was great. 421 still has the one part marked with "rough road" signs heed its warning. But the rest of it is phenomenal.
