Hotel have been decided and since none had anything to input i'll stick with what I had previously decided. And have also opted for the higher priced option in Franklin(i had my reasons). Got a little busy last night and today, last call to put in comments about hotels before I decide. Already had one person say the Super 8 in Abingdon wasn't the greatest but it was the cheapest that wasn't a total dump, but i'll look into it. Will make a decision maybe tomorrow night and book mine and justin's rooms.

Trail heads there were basic signs that said stay on trails, but nothing about citations. Now there are new signs at the trail heads and near the ciffs areas and they do mention citations.

Maybe but I doubt it. I bet people fall here all the time. Some not as lucky as I was. Even yesterday there was a couple that was headed for the same area i fell from and they said the same thing would have when i warned them. "Okay we'll be careful"

Back to the scene of the crime.If anyone wants to know. I was standing on this spot in the first pic. And fell in the direction of the dashed line. And landed on my back in the spot in the second pic. Just like I remembered it's about a 10 to 12 foot slide then 10 to 12 foot strait drop down to the logs. The bottom is probably 40 feet down from where the pics are taken on the trail bridge.

I know I'm down a few pounds this week but not making it official till the weekend weigh in. Started getting back to hiking a biking and back keeps feeling better.

Buy a C14, first bike I've owned that I've never had one. Right now I have a head shake above 100 due to shit front tire but never goes any further. Now my old TL1000 were known as the widowmaker for tank snappers. Suzuki put a damper on as a recall to reduce them but it helped very little. You just had to roll back into it then she would smooth back out.

Oh yea and the Rodeway is .8 mile walk from Cafe Rel.

Friday, Franklin, NC we have two options one is the Rodeway Inn for $66 single $77 double OR Microtel $113 single $118 double with tax, obviously the rodeway isnt going to be as nice but it still has pretty decent reviews. Saturday, Super 8 Abingdon, Va singles and doubles $75 with tax Look these up and give me your input on these or throw out some others if you want me to look into them. Trying to keep things cheap yet still nice and that's hard that time of year down there. Probably decide tomorrow night. 16th is best for the home schedule but work will probably interfere, can't do any of the others due to home schedule.
