Also looking to try this this weekend, heard lots of good things about the Mikkeller line. and on the way home I stopped by my fav. beer/liquor store and my good friend the manager had this guy tucked away that he split out of one of the bricks: Can't decide whether to crack it now or age it a year or two in the basement and try it. any thoughts?

Nice! I'm in the middle of a now almost 10 yr resto on a 69 firebird with the 250 straight 6, verdero green and black base interior. Don't be ashamed, put some pics up of that ol' girl!

Tried this tonight per the pic and Mykill's recommendation, excellent imperial! The oak really adds a nice flavor to the IPAs, i'm gonna be exploring these for a while. also picked up the stone ruination per Mykill, gonna give it a try later this week.
  8. seems like an inefficient way to make ground beef...
  9. hey shithead, take note from the White House, and just about every other decent human being(key word decent): Many people are talking again about gun control. But White House spokesman Jay Carney isn't joining in for now. "I think it's important on a day like today to view this as I know the president, as a father does and I as a father and others who are parents certainly do, which is to feel enormous sympathy for families that are affected and to do everything we can to support state and local law enforcement and support those who are enduring what appears to be a very tragic event. There is, I'm sure, will be, rather, a day for discussion of the usual Washington policy debates but I don't think today is that day."
  10. What have they been used for? :sheepfucker:
  11. :welcome: You may want to re-calculate your estimate of pi.

  13. As stated above, family first. And at least now if the right circumstances come along in the future you know a whole lot more about running your own show than you probably did before. Congrats on the advances at work, and I'll still happily recommend "this guy Ryan Hoblick" as much as I would shopdog. Good luck to you and if you're still doing tire changes I'll probably need another one next season
  14. The manufacturers of our motorcycles have spent thousands if not millions of dollars testing their components under varying stress levels, temperatures, environmental conditions, and even oil types. I'll follow their recommendation over some internet gossip any day. Have had several cars last to 200k miles using nothing more than recommended change intervals and decent oils, I don't expect my motorcycle to be any different.
  15. Maybe his camera control center/bedroom is in the basement too, because, ya know, Scru it. But if not, I agree that it doesn't really seem that helpful to have a loaded weapon in a (generally) difficult to get to location AND behind a locked safe door. If you have enough time to make it to the safe and unlock it, you probably have enough time to rack the slide. Edit: Agree about the child, and of course you can do whatever makes you comfortable. I like the idea that parks posted above for an AR of keeping it with mag loaded and bolt locked back. Hit the mag release and you're ready to go, but it mitigates your worry about the round going off in a fire.
  16. Excellent, so you finished 3 years IM and are now going for a couple year fellowship? Must be exciting to be getting so close!
