    Sig p229

To the OP, I'd look for one in DA/SA as mentioned, great shooting guns and excellent reliability.

    Sig p229

I have the SRT on my p220 and to my knowledge it only does just that, shortens the travel your finger must make to reset the trigger between pulls. So once you pull the trigger the first time, you only have to release it about a quarter inch before the system resets and you are ready to pull again. Not particularly useful unless you are doing rapid fire drills, and even there I think you'd have to be a hell of a shooter to realize any significant speed gains. Just came stock on mine, don't think i'd bother to upgrade to it.

    I'm Down

Heal up quickly man, and replace those jeans with some good riding pants. Ride on!
  5. Hoblick FTMFW! http://www.shopdogcycles.com/
  6. exactly, except all of the rights would have to be identical, unlike now. The legal term would be civil union, and marriage would fall under that category, as well as other types of legal unions. The government has no business telling churches who they can and can't marry, nor do they have any business telling citizens they should not be treated equally.
  7. Why can't we come up with a new legal term for "marriage", and extend the same rights to anyone who has made a legal commitment to one another. If you can find a church or legal representative to wed you, you deserve the same legal rights as any other couple who have made that commitment, regardless of sex/race/creed/etc. Under this system, religious folk can keep their term(marriage), and if you don't think someone deserves to be married in your church then take it up with your pastor, not the public.
  8. Have to admit though when I saw this thread title, I figured a mod had changed the title of co0kie's thread for the lulz.

    goodbye

Sucks to hear but glad you're alive man. Here's to a quick recovery
  10. "This incident highlights the need for TSA agents to be better educated..." Yeah, no shit. Morons
  11. Peacock FTMFW! I was there about 6 months ago and still had the same delicious food and still never packed, steady stream of 1-2 tables seated at any given time. If I make it to the dyno day I'd def. be up for Peacock after
  12. ^this. And all the other rational thoughts from smashweights. While it is true that all the testing and safety regulations slow down the speed at which new treatments can reach the public, if we just let anything through we could end up killing or hurting more people through unintended side effects. Our system is not perfect, but no system can be. One trial showing some virus killed cancer cells does not mean that we've found a cure. Sure I might know a guy who lived to 100 and smoked a pack of cigarettes a day his whole life, but I wouldn't recommend doing the same.
  13. Since you're asking right now, I'd say I'd love to live/ride in southern Utah/northern Arizona: here's why: this was our drive into Zion national park today.
  14. In for 10. I can ride out from Columbus to meet you or work something out. Thanks!
  15. Welcome, and damn that retro scheme looks cool!
  16. Oh and I heard they're on SUPER SALE at Woodbury for $1500 OTD
  17. price'll probably drop after all the "OMG HAVE TO HAVE" kids get theirs and figure out the early production flaws for the rest of those interested
  18. The price on it in the case was $429 IIRC
  19. Handled one of these today up at Vance's, good feel to it and the trigger pull wasn't too bad either. They have one in the case for display/handling, and they said they have 30 coming in next week. Apparently they sold out the first 6 they received in under 10 min. Would be good to have in .40
  20. I found a pair of these barely used for CHEAP and really like them. Good armor, zip right into my jacket, and as mentioned have zippers all the way up the sides so getting in and out is no problem. They have waterproof zippers so I assume they'd keep water out, but haven't tested that thoroughly yet
  21. This^ Wash bike, park in shade if possible and immediately dry with a clean towel. No spots. If you do end up with a few, hit them with some spray detailer or just go ride, bike's gonna get messy again anyway
