  1. Woot! Actually,I think I WILL get her to put it on and then I'll post a pic Hrm... she's actually pretty anti-gun Do you guys think I should try and talk her into it, or just re-gift the shirt to whoever comes in second place? It won't fit me, but it sure would look great on her (As does anything, or nothing)
  2. Yikes! I hope it works out, and I sure am glad I didn't buy an older bike. eek.
  3. vtwin's don't vibrate... THUMPERs vibrate
  4. You made the right move
  5. Nice Buell blast you've got, there! It says "**SOLD** We have others!" under the Kawasaki ZZR600... does that mean other bikes in general, or other ZZR 600's? I'll be in Columbus tomorrow for work... I might stop by to look around.

Says the guy with a turtle for his avatar
  7. Buy my bike Take the test on it srsly, though, there are always other places to take the class... It costs more, though, but you don't have to wait. Like state 8, or a harley dealership's new rider course.
  8. They sell star wars helmets, too. I'm tempted to get a scout trooper's helmet and mod my bike into a speeder

    Sell it anyway! to me.
  10. I'm scared to admit that I've never dropped my bike... Because now that I've said that, I'm sure it'll happen promptly. Good thing it's plastic.
  11. I had no idea that Ali's exhaust was hanging for so long... And I had no idea I looked sooooo big on my bike from behind That time at the end where I roll on the throttle makes it sound much less lawnmower-ey that it really is, too. Awesome vid! BTW... I think I was upshifting and down shifting a little more than you... About every ten seconds, in my case!
  12. Only because you have no friends
  13. Erie, P.A., a red '07 250 for 1900. That means you could get it for less http://erie.craigslist.org/mcy/2562579626.html 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 250R. Just under 5k miles. It has been serviced regularly and is in great condition. Body looks new. Just had the oil changed, carbs cleaned and adjusted, plugs changed, chain lubed, and fluids filled. Good to hear nice reviews of that 2nd shop I went to... Chad, the salesman who talked to me, was much less... elitist than the guys at State 8. He was just more approachable, too. I actually don't think I'll be doing too much 2 up riding... My GF stays INCREDIBLY busy, and I'm also a little scared that something may happen. I'm a new enough rider that I worry about my own safety and don't really want anyone riding on the back to be responsible for theirs, as well... Plus I heard it changes all the ergonomics and dynamics of riding. Down the road, in a few years, I might be thinking about a touring bike for me & GF (maybe wife, then) but for the immediate future, I'm ridin' solo Which shop to purchase from really comes down to who has the bike I want at the price I want... and in THAT case, a private party sale is almost always cheaper... Although I'll probably want test rides at a shop so I can make an educated decision... Though to be honest, I'll probably look for a good deal and buy that bike, instead of test-riding lots of models, and then waiting for that model of bike to come up for sale. Probably the wrong way to go about it, eh?

Rats! Would've been nice to ride with an EX-500... It's on my list of possible bikes. It's a long list, LOL, half the bikes ever made are on it
  18. Apparently, from the sound of things, he waits until we ride and then sneaks over to get cutesy with the wives & GF's back home
  19. Aw c'mon, you can afford to buy her her own bike.... Nice starter bike! Or we could just, you know, trade : Plenty of room for a wife on the back of mine, provided my 220 lbs isn't taking up all the room Free bump in case someone sees this thread and has suggestions!
