  1. I am starting to primer and paint and here is my set up, 2 hanging basket hooks and some fishing line lol. Pieces in progress... And my newly painted muffler and freshly detailed frame...
  2. This is what I did but they tend to wear out after a couple months and do not hold their shape as well. Do the JVCs hold their shape and strength long?
  3. Sorry, couldn't find it but I think it is because it was in the walking dead thread. My bad.
  4. This is a really good deal! I spend $26 on 6 blades which are 5 blade gillette and I try to use them way longer than I should because they are so expensive.
  5. This is exactly how it was for me, except it went iPod, MacBook, iPhone, iPad, now looking at getting an apple tv.
  6. I haven't seen a non pre pay pump since I first started driving 7 years ago. Just always pay with my credit card because it's easier and gets me money back.
  7. I have a couple sets for sale. The street tires have a pretty good amount of tread on them. Look in the FS section for my thread.
  8. I got the most pressing issue fixed which was the engine issue, the rest is either easy like getting tires installed or cosmetic so I am pretty much good to go.
  9. Have the same one and love it. Has saved me several times. Considering upgrading to the 9500 for the gps but for the price, the 8500 is very hard to beat. You can even get this smart cord which will use your cell phone for internet and will update the radar with live speed trap updates, false alarms and warnings. May do this instead of the 9500 although Im not sure how well it will work at the moment because they just released it in December or January. Also, they can't seem to tell me how much data this thing uses so I am not sure how well this would work with my limited 2GB plan. http://www.escortradar.com/escort-live/
  10. Also, SBSettings in Cydia is one of my favorite things about jailbreaking. It allows you to quickly toggle things like wifi, 3g, bluetooth, ssh(also something very cool and worth looking into) and allows you to do soft and hard reboots if your phone locks up or has signal issues.
  11. Use PDAnet, its much more reliable than MyWi which breaks with every minor OS revision. You can even do "Hide Teather" which disguises the traffic as legitimate iPhone traffic in case your carrier likes to detect if you are tethering without paying for the service.
  12. Solarmovie.eu is a good one, I like projectfree.tv as well.
  13. I don't know about $2500, I sold my '07 for $2100 last summer in about the same condition (minus the shoddy repair job) with a few mods after buying it for $1700 in the winter. I would say it could go for $1900 or so when spring hits.
  14. This is actually unlocking which is in addition to jailbreaking.
  15. As a first time jail break it should be fine as long as you back it up. Now once it's jailbroken and you want to upgrade the OS, that can get tricky because you already have jailbroken apps or themes that will not be applied to the restored iPhone until you re jailbreak. Had many times where this has happened. Contacts and most apps are usually still there but the apps are never in the place I left them(in folders), they have lost all user data and all my music is gone which may be the worst part for me because I hate trying to condense 50gigs of music into a 16gig iPhone. Also, DO NOT upgrade to 5.1 or you are screwed until they release the jb for it which could be next week or it could be a year from now.
  16. Replaced plugs and pads today. The pads I am not sure I needed because the old ones were only half gone, but I have some EBC's now so it was an upgrade. The plugs on the other hand solved my engine tumble problem which just saved me probably $400 so I am pretty happy about that! May even have more than half on them. But while I was under the tank I found this plug that didn't have anything plugged into it. Anyone know what it is? It looked very similar to the plug that was plugged into the bottom of the air box.
  17. Doesn't that stuff smell and produce toxic fumes when making it?
  18. Well that's why I just got comp like yesterday. If its stolen cool, I get a new bike. If it is pushed over or something I'm gonna get pissed because I'm doing all this work on it just to get broken.
  19. Well I already used the epoxy but will keep those recommendation in mind for the future. And I did apply it inside and out and it is super strong. Don't expect to have any problems with it.
  20. If my place had garages I would have one. So I put the bike between 2 building, with it facing the wind and wrapped it in speaker wire to hold the cover tight. I think it should be good.
  21. But have you watched most of those stations? There horrible lol
  22. Not quite chronic, I'm too poor for that right now lol
