  1. During the morning proceedings, jurors were shown graphic images. George presented four photographs of Seaton's groin saying, "You can see there's nothing there." Robinson offered up a photograph of the cancerous tip of a penis – not Seaton's. Man, How'd you like to be on that jury?
  2. The thing about fuel injection is you can do it for about what a set of Keihin CR's Or Mikuni Flatslides will cost you. There's a handful of 750s out there running EFI already. One guy built one and the only expensive part was the micro squirt computer, which is only about 250 bucks. Everything else came from a pull-a-part junkyard. Hyundai injectors, ford escort TB, various GM sensors. Other guys run TB racks off newer sport bikes, which is probably the route i'll take. CB750's run forever, don't feel bad about putting money into it. I just spent 250 bucks just in gaskets for my 350F.
  3. Ah, Figured you were going big bore, Most kits are 836, forgot about the cyclex kit. Have you checked out their ignition system? It's bad ass, Uses an optical trigger wheel in place of the points plate and GM ignition components. My 750 is getting one, and eventually i'll be using that trigger wheel to signal a microsquirt EFI setup.
  4. Download the factory service manuals from www.hondatech.info any problems you have you can find the answer on sohc4.net I'm actually in the middle of rebuilding my CB350F, and it's taking up most of my free time. I'm hoping to have it back on the road by next weekend, then I'd be more than willing to give you a hand. Top end only there is very little to screw up. Get all the o-rings in place, make sure you re-install the oil restrictors, and adjust the valves when its back together. Triple check you get the cam chain in the right position. Don't wanna smash the valves once you get it back together. Have you taken anything apart yet? I've got a cordless impact that makes easy work of all the fucking Phillips bolts on these things. Screwdrivers do nothing but mangle the heads. Impact drivers that you hit with a hammer work ok, just takes forever.
  5. I've rebuilt 2, and i own 3 Sohc4s. Skip the haynes manual, Find a Factory service manual. What are you having trouble with? There isn't much to these old bikes.
  6. It runs on a lawn mower tank, just gotta mount a real tank and seat on it. Its titled as a KZ550 so once i get lights on it we'll be out on the streets too.
  7. Which is why i'm in love with my CB350F. Its a dog turd of a bike, but you can wail on the thing through twisties, using 4, sometimes all 5 gears where an average bike would only be using 2, or maybe 3. Flying through a corner, WOT, 2nd gear screaming at 10,000 rpm, sliding the back tire is probably the most fun you can have this side of a motard. It feels like a 34 horsepower bmx bike.
  8. I'll be terrorizing portage lakes on this:
  9. Meaning, Had he been earlier in the corner, He had plenty of time and lane to settle the bike back down after it came up when he touched. Since he was already through it looked like he was just being lazy. Not good practice, but not exactly dangerous either. Jesus Christ you need to lighten up. Honestly, In my opinion it looked like he slowed down too much and the bike fell into the corner on him. Better body position and less lean angle would have helped. The guy has room for improvement in his riding, but nowhere in the video was he going above his skill level.
  10. I almost never see busa's being used for what they would seem to be awesome at. Sport touring. I've heard they're comfortable, and since they're geared for 200+ mph it would eat up interstate miles effortlessly. I've seen quite a few of them decked out on ADVrider for that, No stretched swingarms or 330 tires to be found. I think most busa riders missed the point.
  11. Did you watch the same video i watched? That is far from stupid riding, at least by the camera bike. Looked to me like the cruiser pulled over to let him by, he didn't even cross center for that pass. That was pretty easy riding IMO. One bobble when the brake lever hit, but he was already through the turn basically and more than likely had a good line of sight. That's probably one of the most tame deals gap videos i've seen.
  12. Trans good in the bad one? My friend needs one.
  13. It's hard for me to pick really.. And every state has good, and bad areas to ride. Northern new york is amazing, any populated area is hell. Northern indiana sucks, southern indiana kicks ass. I do know one thing, and it's that akron is probably the worst place i've ever ridden, with boston being a tie. I have never been out west but have been to most of this half of the country. East Tennessee/west NC hands down is the best riding I've ever experienced. Like someone else said in this thread, I'm moving there as soon as I can find a job in my line of work.
  14. Yes, and i'm having withdrawals. I'm more irritable and depressed when i don't ride for a few days than when i go a few days without smoking a cigarette.
  15. No way! I have a beagle mutt named Memphis, He is the best dog in the world. My jack russell on the other hand...
  16. This. Although, I've got 34. Damn CBR600's parking it in front of me, He shoulda bought a liter bike.
  17. I've got my bike torn down right now to replace the 40 year old gaskets that were no longer doing any sealing whatsoever. I figure since its apart, and its got 40K miles, I should probably get new valve guides, seals, and the valves lapped. It's getting honed and ringed too, but i'm doing that myself. I feel like i might be able to do it myself, but i plan on keeping this bike for many more years, and would like a professional to tackle the head work. Can anybody point me in the direction of a shop that won't mess this up? I don't wanna trust just any old machine shop to do it, since the valves are so tiny, and parts are extremely hard to get if they mess it up.
  18. Check the carb boot for leaks, If you spray carb cleaner on the boot and the idle changes, it's leaking. Stock pipe and stock filter should be very easy to tune.
  19. West Virginia has some awesome roads that you can actually make time on. 55mph speed limit with few towns to slow down for. The downside is, they can be pretty technical, and i don't think i could handle more than 400 miles of riding through there without being mentally beat.
  20. I'm down for it, even without the SS1000, that would be pretty much impossible on anything but freeway. The only bad thing about my bike is the fuel range, I have to stop for fuel every 100 miles. I usually carry a full can with me on long rides, just so i can pull over dump it in and keep rolling without hassling with a gas station.
  21. Keep them if they're decent. Trash if they aren't. I'm not going to deal with CL types for a 10 dollar used tire. Occasionally a friend needs a tire, and i hook them up for a beer. If you ever ice race, you can cut the sidewalls off and stick the carcass inside another tire to protect the tube from bolt in studs, thats what i'll be doing with some of mine this winter.
  22. I'm in. Any chance on making the first day a SS1000? That's one of my goals for the year.
  23. Clean aluminum chips bring stupid money. I work for a machine shop, and about once a month i take a few trash cans full of chips to the scrap yard. A pickup load of trash cans brings in 500-600 bucks.
