  1. I like the extang full tilt also!
  2. I've been wanting a soft tonneau cover for a while, but unsure which to buy. Anybody have experience with them? Contemplating truxedo brand.
  3. since guns are bad you should turn your HK over to me.
  4. No worries. I do what I do nobody has to follow my lead. I like training , knowledge, and new skills. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuWtAAJG8X4&feature=youtube_gdata_player Better video above. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0hBGWyizEY&feature=youtube_gdata_player Another good drill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LksBJbjGP3A&feature=youtube_gdata_player This is fun too Maybe on my vacation week I shall hit the range heavy. I don't do these drills enough.
  5. I carry with one in the chamber as well, its a malfunction injury drill. Will I ever have to use it I sure hope not but then again I hope I.never have to use my firearm in self defense. I usually carry an extra mag or two just in case once again I hope I never need them. I also regularly carry a bug. You dont use the belt buckle either. Usually I use my holster. I carry battle weapons I'm not afraid to get a scratch on them honestly. I also practice with random dummy rounds. I use tap rack bang method. I need to pickup coming tactics videos.
  6. I was talking up pulling the slide back via the ejection port. Even glocks or hks can malfunction or have a dud round. This guy is pretty damn quick. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMsAvWOEj-k&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  7. Some states allow alcohol consumption while carrying.
  8. Sleep?¿?¿ you can.sleep when your dead!
  9. Not to agree with him, but I suggest doing one hand drills reloading or swapping mags. Never know if you will be injured and need to mag swap. You use the ejection port on the slide and catch on your holster, chair, belt, about anything really its easy to do.
  10. Most properly functioning modern guns don't go bang by themselves unless something is wrong with them. Many if the older revolvers would. My guns have yet to discharge themselves. I quarentine them for 30 days to ensure they are not evil and don't accidently go off all by themselves. I am starting to believe they are breeding though. I started with one smith and up to three. Oh my sigs are duplicating also. Damn it so has my beretta I forgot about the wifes 22. AR's multiply as well.
  11. I will say if I was going to put the EMP (1911) in a tank bag I.would drop the hammer, but keep a round chambered, so if I needed it I would simply pull the hammer back and she would go bang. Sig 229 or anything else I have would be safety off (if it has one) round in.the chamber with full mags. Surely the police dont carry with one in the chamber. I mean for safety's sake. I think on my trip to indy I will leave my firearms at home and pack skittles.
  12. This is I.am going to leave to someone with more patience to explain this to you. Oh IP, chevysoldier your turn. All I'm gonna say is LOL!!!!
  13. +rep That is my favorite YouTube video. If I'm feeling down I give it a watch. My next favorite is bigtex shooting himself with the 1911. I always keep a full mag and one in the chamber. Springfield EMP is carried hammer back safety on cocked and locked 100% of thr time. Wife carries with one in each cylinder as well. I also always carry at least one fully loaded spare mag but usually two. I even carry while wearing my hoodies and eating skittles. FYI I like to seperate the colors to eat them seperate cause I'm racist.
  14. Up until he has am accidental discharge. Some cops have very bad safe handeling skills. Not all but quite a few.
  15. I've read multiple reports of officers simply locking thr slide back and unloading the mag, which is stupid. These stories have cone from all over America.
  16. My condolences. I like my dogs better than I like most people.
  17. I've posted it before, but I've only been pulled over once while carrying. Not necessarily! I was pulled over once while carrying and living in Indiana, I informed him even though not required. Honestly he seemed to appreciate knowing that I was armed and simply asked where it was and told me to keep my hands in plane sight. He knew I had a permit when he ran the plate I'm guessing though. As the officer was running my license 2 college cops pulled behind him blocking the main drag with guns drawn. The trooper told them multiple times that he had it under control. The moron campus cops were just waving their guns around and I still have no idea why the blocked the main drag when I purposefully pulled onto a side street as to not block traffic and for the officer's safety. I have only had one other interaction with an officer after a minor accident last year in s parking lot. I we out of the car already informed the officer (boardman, oh PD) and he didn't care. I handed him my license and CHL he immediatly gave me back my CHL. He was very profrssional. Each state has different laws, basically you just follow the officer's direction. Now field stripping a firearm is stupid, dangerous, and not needed.
  18. I know I know. I didnt make a note of what time I saw it so I'm going to have to go through the video files, the time us set wrong on the cam anyway for some reason. I'm on vacation this coming week i will work on video.
