  1. All guns owners are racist, we all have a racist movie in our head! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0cZ3BnbcuQ&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  2. As an added bonus I will donate 10% of the sale price (not including shipping) to the Ohioriders forum to help maintain the site if a member buys it. It's nice to have s place to sell firearms locally, its nice to know you're not meeting up with a pyscho. A crazy maybe.
  3. We've only put about 200 rnds through it , but had zero issues with it. Wife put most of the rounds through. I don't want to attest to the accuracy or reliablility as I haven't personally put enough rounds through it to honestly give my opinion. I may have the original box in the basement. I will cue k Monday when I get home. We bought it to try and get her younger brother interested I'm target shooting, didn't work. I'm sure you could hunt with it if you wanted front sight is adjustable rear sight twists and has 4 different sides. If someone doesn't put find on it by Monday I will probablytake it to the range and get a better feel for it.
  4. Salem, but I will be through cbus and Dayton area the 1st week I'm may. Probably May 1 and again on May 4.
  5. Traded it at the gunshop today lock it up!
  6. Coon was under the deck almost up against the block wall, I would have used my 40 but I wad concerned about going through and a ricochet bullet to the forehead.
  7. +1 I apologize to all the socialists, liberals, marxists, and communist on the forum, but if you don't like freedom LEAVE ! I hear Cuba, Russia, China, are nice! Leave the country I love alone!
  8. Because we need "common sense" gun laws. I say we need "common sense" budgets and spending. They want us to keep our laws off their bodies and the govrnment out of their bedtime but they want free birth control, and healthcare. They want free access to my wallet. And gun safe, but I'm not supposed to have any say on their activites. Fyi liberals aren't really liberals because they don't believe in liberty. The new liberals are marxists, socialists, or communist really. My definition of liberty is the maximum abcense of government control! Why is it that the biggest "liberals" don't believe we should be able to carry guns, but yet they have armed guards ex. Rossie o' Donnel, bloomburg, daily.... Answer: socialism is for the people not the socialists !
  9. What 22lr round do you pr.efer for varmints? I had to dispatch a coon a month or do ago. I shot that damn thing like 6 times before it passed. Oh and yes I know I hit it 6 times. I was using fedral bulk target rounds, but it was a big coon. Coon = racoon for you city folk or race baiiters.
  10. "Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself! They are the American people's Liberty Teeth and keystone under Independence. From the hour the Pilgrims landed, to the present day, events, occurrences, and tendencies prove that to insure peace, security, and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere, restrains evil interference -- they deserve a place of honor with all that's good!"--President George Washington, in a speech to Congress. 7 January, 1790 "If a thief is caught breaking in and is struck so that he dies, the defender is not guilty of bloodshed."--Exodus 22:2 "When a strong man, fully armed, guards his house, his possessions are safe." -Luke 11:21 "Jesus said, 'But now whoever has a purse or a bag, must take it and whoever does not have a sword must sell his cloak and buy one.'" -Luke 22:36
  11. Might dealer used a moly based lube when they cleaned one of mine. I used to use gun butter on the rails, but haven't found a local supplier.
  12. +1 I honestly hope I NEVER have to use a weapon in self defense , but if I'm put in that situation where its life and death I won't hesitate. Smurfs live in a fictional make believe land that is only on your tv, and it is scripted. If life was scripted there would be no death or crime. Magz guns aren't for everyone if you dont want one, don't buy one.
  13. Hell I will play along. I bought my first gun for protection actually had my ccw before I ever fired a round (Indiana). Wife worked at the bank, the bank across the street got robbed , they murdered the loan officer which didn't even make the news. The robbers were stalking the tellers and other bank employees, following them home and getting what info they could and yhrn killing them. I had already applied for my ccw, but this expedited my gun purchase. We were followed for about 6 miles all around town one evening , and we only lived 1/2 mile from work but we zig zagged and went a different way home daily. We started shooting regularly my carry gun, and enjoyed the time together at the range. Next came a 22lr pistol for cheaper plinking well she didn't like sharing it so I bought one next. At this point all of my firearms are for protection and because I like guns! Shit its just relaxing and fun. FYI you can blame my parents I wasn't even allowed a toy gun as a kid, now look at me.
  14. Yep oil around the screw and a mark or two on the wood which isn't original. It originally came with rubber grips. Barely a turn mark on the cylinder. Fyi this is one of the good guns its not intended for carry by evil CCW holders, and even came with a coupon for skittles.
  15. So we were at the gun shop today, dropping a shotgun off to be shipped. I decided to pickup some ammo for the wife's 629 that she carries. Anyway we sat around talking with the owner and the associate and I saw a S&W case on top of the display case. They were busy with customers (small shop) and I opened the S&W case low and behold a beautiful S&W was inside. Wifie bought me apparently a Birthday, Anniversary, Christmas, and maybe even a Valentine's day gift all wrapped into one beautiful firearm. Smith and Wesson Performance Center Model 627-5 .357 Mag V8 With a rail and Sig Sauer Red Dot attached. Firearm was barely used. Shot her (gun not wife) at the range the sight wasn't sighted in so I took it back in and the dealer adjusted it for me. Once I got used to the sight I was stacking the rounds. Wife as been considering ordering me a custom gun, but hated to spend $2,000 + and this just happened to be there. Just so excited I thought I would share. Looked up prices on gunbroker and apparently we did well especially with the Sig sight mounted. MY WIFE IS AWESOME!
