  1. Serious question: Under your proposed bill, what about firearms in a household if one spouse passes? For instance some of our firearms (that were lost in a fishing accident) are in my name and some are in my wife's name. How do we know who did the paperwork on which ones? If one passes does the other have to transfer all of the firearms? This is a situation that eliminating the "gun show loop hole" just doesn't make sense.

  2. Maybe, I purchased mine new. I also have a crossbreed holster/leather mag pouch and everything that came with the pistol. .40 caliber btw

Nevermind I have the 40 and I am wanting a 9 to accompany it. Seem like I can find lots of 40's

  3. Remember, this is a give and take scenario meant to be a compromise between both sides. These aren't necessarily things I want, but things I'm willing to do. I am not willing to agree to any new weapons ban, registration, etc. However, I am willing to give in other areas in order to work together. That's the key here. Both sides of this debate need to work together instead of being steadfast in their opinions. New legislation is coming. Don't for a minute think it's not. It's imparative that we work together on this.

I would accept the nics check with the rest of your ideas. I like opening it up vs requiring you to have s dealer do it. Im not fond of the training' requirement

  4. For those of you looking for a 45 you will never find a more comfortable 45 to shoot than the FNP. It feels like you are shooting a 22.

The only thing on the fnp45 was the grip texture. I put a hogue wrap on it and its nice now.

Both great guns. Good luck with getting your hands on a sig. If it weren't for the price I'd have my hands on a 229 or 226.

I have the 40 and love it, but I want a 9 also.

  5. He told me it was a known technique for defending fire bases in Iraq & Afghanistan. Use the dummy mortars to "range" landmarks then when something happens you know what settings to use to hit those landmarks. Then you just need to make the bad guy stand near a land mark - "Free Bird Seed" or something similar.

Are the bad guys the roadrunner? Beep beep. Rofl

  6. Never looked at them as a hobby, and you would be very wise to keep what you have.

They are one of my hobbies but lately haven't had much range time. I will wait for guys to sell off the stuff they just put on their credit card when "IT" doesn't happen.

  7. You wanna talk about hysteria? At my reloading class a few of the guys stayed back late and talked about "prepping". One of them talked about placing markers in his (large) property that are ranged for mortar fire so if someone attacks he can radio to a buddy on the mortar the exact location (Purple 3!) and the mortar guy will have a chart so he knows exactly how many clicks to adjust the mortar launcher to hit each target. He "ranged" it with with dummy mortars.

This was part of his prep for avoiding the "FEMA Death Camps". Apparently Obama will repeal the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 22nd Amendments, and FEMA will announce it's "Safety Camps" (which are really Concentration Camps, or Death Camps, depending on if your forced labor is useful to Obama). Conservatives and Libertarians will be rounded up based upon any record of gun ownership, membership of "terrorist" groups like NRA, GOA etc.

The funny thing is, they talked about this like it was true. They expect this to start in about 3 months.

Wtf. Im watching my language with a tot on the way but seriously :wtf:
