Willie's place for older country. Prime country where my radio stays much of the time. I like some of the 90's on 9. I listen to a couple talk shows on patriot radio as well.

Actually your analogy would be more correct if the dealer wanted 20K and you didn't want to buy a god damn car

I'm sure it won't pass as written - but I refuse to believe it will be worse than Diane Buttstain is asking for. The car dealer wants 20k for the car, you offer 18k, you eventually pay somewhere between 18k and 20k or the deal falls through - but you don't wind up paying 25k. Unless you are a shit negotiator.
Exactly. Although its more offering wholesale vs dealer retail price.

They list the Norinco 56S (AK-style) but not the Norinco 56 (SKS). Now, my SKS has the tapco conversion with pistol grip and 20rd duckbill mags, so that makes it illegal unless grandfathered.
It's all bullshit anyway. Think how long it takes to get legislation in, then think how long it takes entrepreneurial Americans to slide past the ban for a quick buck.
THE BIG QUESTION>>>> The wording is that grandfathered weapons are exempt from the bill - does that mean they can still be sold/transferred?
If they are excluded then they should be able to be sold or transferred. There is no telling if/until the bill is passed. I don't see it passing as written.

Man, I would so hit that.
With my wife's permission of course.

Don't forget American Idol and Survivor.
Those are still on the air?
how about honey boo boo? Reality shows sheesh..........

Never had a problem with a steel. A friend's AR wont feed or extract steel reliably for some reason.
Can we have the caliber debate next? Please......
-
See official report posted earlier in this thread. Shotgun was in the car as clearly seen in video at the time of them clearing the weapon in the trunk.
Thanks for the update. I missed that link.

There was no lying going on, an AR was used but it didn't meet the assault weapons ban criteria to be defined as an assault weapon it was a simple AR rifle.
Rifle was in the car last I heard.

Hello 9-1-1 what is your emergency?
Or hammer down and get away. I've dealt with some crazies before.

Chevy we are having too much fun with this. Do you think occupy was background checked and properly trained?
-
I think the 1st Amendment only applies to iron quill pens, or whatever they used back then. It doesn't apply to computers or modern newspapers.
EXACTLY! The founders couldn't have imagined the computers, pens, printers, etc of today.
Its common sense!
-
More laws trying to regulate, ban, register, etc motor vehicles probably wouldn't work anyway.
People would just pay cash, borrow or steal one when they needed it.
oh wait...
Stiff penalties for straw car purchasers.
It's for the children.
Do you hate children?
Don't you want safer roads for the children?
-
I know you're just trolling but we do mandate training to operate a car on public roads. It's called the driving test.
A test isn't equal to training.
Im serious lets apply these common sense regulations to other things. Do you dispute that more peolpe die in car accidents than with firearms? Background checks and mandatory training to exercise your 1st amendment right? Restrictions on high word capacity articles for newspapers?
-
True and there is no constitution right to drive a car. Hmmmm how many people die in car "accidents"?
Maybe we need common sense car regulations!
I demand universal background checks before purchasing, owning, leasing, renting, or driving a car. Eliminate the private sale loophole for automobiles and motorcycles. Common sense speed limiters to 35 mph. Lets not forget mandatory breath analyzers in all motorized vehicles. I also insist on mandatory training!
We must do this for the children!

My wife gave me a more entertaining offer than your $100 to keep it, sir. But less entertaining than $190.
Let us hear her offer. If someone else buys it is her offer still on the table?

You usually supply the targets.

One of them happened when the guy was taking the gun out of his case to be checked.
Got you. Don't take a loaded firearm in there DUH! keep your finger out of the trigger area. I've been to fin feather fur and seen them unloading a gun at the front desk that someone is bringing in to sell/trade.
You cant fix stupid.
-
Yes, everything's a conspiracy when it comes to the media. Nevermind that 3(!) different "responsible gun owners" shot either themselves or others on the day that "responsible gun owners" ordained that they should all get together and celebrate the fact that they are "responsible gun owners."
I actually agree with you on this one. They are reporting the news. Don't want this to be in the news during this time? Be responsible, don't "accidently" shoot someone during this sensitive time.
-
I thought they checked weapons at the door to ensure they are unloaded.

Magic erasers clean up the black plastic nicely, not sure how well with that wax though.

these things are a monstrosity. Almost as bad as nissan cubes. No idea why honda decided to attempt to make a truck...i think the only foreign company to get it right so far is toyota.

I like Mike Church, Andrew Wilkow, David Webb and NRA news on the patriot channel. Occasionally I catch Mark Levin.
Not sure I will renew next time. I can get by with slacker or pandora free.
