  1. Simplest method imo would be have it custom bent so your drop and offset angles are where you need them, you dont want to just buy something and slap it on.....could drag it through a turn at the Gap - especially with your other half playin' backpack. I'd assume just make sure to keep it close to the bike as possible between point a & b without susp. interference?
  2. Congratulations! Whats your next step?
  3. yeah, I told ya its deep stuff when you look at the whole project top to bottom - wish I could find the parts manual I printed off, but the catalogs are free for the lookin' through several sites. Think I used servicehonda more than anything, and its nice to see a parts list with the assembly breakdowns. Time consuming stuff man, hence my prior dilemma - by the way, did I thankyou?
  4. Bikes sold! Lock it up! Thanx AJ, damn nice to meet ya man!
  5. Think the concensus here is that quite a bit of us have been where you are, or are where you've been - either way, you have empathy here. With the music equipment you've stated, sounds like you have some skills as a musician......pick up a weekender's dream gig playin' covers and originals at a local club, the occasional lime light will definitely make you feel better about yourself through positive attention and compliments as well as give you a hobby throughout the week learning/writing music - I love it! If you're passion is in motorcycling, search out aftermarket companies needing electrical tech's/engineers to design and build things the market has demand for......maybe even design new goodies to help make a new trend? You've got options man, and the "target fixation" analogy is spot on - I have done this very thing myself and it's a tough cracker to swallow at times......but if you focus on your "positives" and the darkness goes away more and more. Also, take IP up on his offer for some herbal enhancement.......in a medicinal capacity of course You never know, it may bring good things to light -- a stoner epiphany if you will Good luck in your endeavors and chin up about your life.......at least you didn't squander an Engineering education on working in a truckshop for the last decade like I have - but I'm happy enough with my living thanks to all you truckdrivers out there who like to break shit!
  6. So they actually EARN some of their pay.....thats cool, at least they can be useful. Hey Brandon......pending any mech issues at MidO, think you're able to pace with the top 10 there? Didnt know what kind of laptimes you have/can average vs the typical pace of the field.

Dude, you look like one mean mofo in that pic! For folks that don't know ya, they'd have no clue that you're just the sweetest little feller:lol:

I cant stand to wear facial hair and I've sadly got plenty to remove regularly - I tolerate a goatee for about 2 weeks before I take it back off, just bugs the shit out of me for some reason. I'm a furry fella and deal with that fine (except for the ocassional undie tug on my junkfuzz) but my face/head is the worst to deal with. I used to be able to tuck my hair into my pants way back when, was hot as fuck in the summer, was a pain to wash, and after an hour long set of playin' some headbangin' metal it was a total rats nest that took 20 minutes to brush out.........so I shaved my noggin' back in the late 90's and have loved every minute of it. Havent owned a comb/brush since

Damn, poor guy has had one major, self-induced, rough one
  10. OMG, I can hear that poor bike screamin' from here! Abort mission! Abort mission! GROSS OVERLOAD!!
  11. Maybe Brandon is busy with his team, his bike, and his forum? Or its possible he cares less about OR? Hell, he's only been home a few days so there has to be shit to do from the weekend still. Either way, I dont care - I just throw my pair of pennies on the subject and let him take it for what he wants. If there's pics of umbrella girls on his forum from the race, so be it.....those ladies take those jobs for a reason, to make money through self exposure, they do what they do because they feel comfortable in/with themselves enough to do so. Some women can just be half naked in public without much care as to what anyone thinks about them, others are less adventureous due to their own demons/inhibitions......world's full of different types of people......
  12. Most impressive! I'd be throwing up after all that......did you see the size of that rear sprocket?! Pizza pie!
  13. You say your bike wont start, meaning its locked and wont turn or it cranks and wont fire? If your camchain gave up, I'm sure a piston would clap tight against a valve(s) and shouldn't let the engine spin free - never seen/heard of a "non-interference" motorcycle engine:dunno: If you broke your camchain, you "probably" wouldn't need to replace the camshafts unless there's EXCESSIVE wear on the cogs - camchain, new tensioner, chain guides, valve cover gaskets, and various valve shims to adjust the valvetrain while its down/apart.
  14. For a bedroom tv, I'd mount it to the ceiling so you can simply lay back and enjoy - that way there's no picture limitations trying to get it in a cabinet......just a thought - goodluck
  15. Spend $400 and get a nicer 42" with better resolution, sound, quality in general. We spent a little over $400 for our 42" Panasonic plasma, love it - HD looks great and the sound is good too. We bought my daughter a small 24" LED at $250 and although picture quality is good, the sound sucks.....thin and shallow, no bass response at all.
  16. This is what I was thinking too, if everyone else is doing it in a butt fierce hurry I'm sure you'll pull through too; and I HIGHLY doubt you'll be the only one there with a fear of heights. Unless you go for Airborne, then you're screwed:D
  17. All I saw were the back of my eyelids but there's little probability I could have seen anything from where I live anyway
  18. I 2nd this motion......southeastern Tenn. would be sweet, and very close to the Gap
  19. Looks good man! CBR's always have a racey look but that matte black helps it look faster
