  1. You should put those boys to work making custom boards.....nice Daddiness!
  2. Still have the wheelsets and some items left.
  3. We bought our house as a live-in-flip....12 years ago
  4. Rossi's team knew the laptime split between Marquez vs riders on rains, but Rossi wouldn't have. He saw them post BOX on his pit board, but it's ultimately up to him and was likely pushing for more position before pitting in. Maybe they should've posted "Rains +7" so he'd known the difference? Definitely some communication breakdown. Marquez team gambled a good game, and Lorenzo just couldn't get it together at all this weekend. Rain always makes the racing interesting, especially when the track dries out and the crews play a more integral part during the race.
  5. Wife and I are in for this, glad to be back in Logan....which inevitably ends with dinner at Millstone!
  6. Glad you figured out the issue with the premature tire wear. The gauge that lied to me was off a lot more than yours, but it drove me to do the same and invest in a quality gauge.
  7. Thanks Jacob, we'd like to see the vid. Got busy today upgrading the laundry room lighting. Wanted to see how things went on raceday, so we made other plans for Saturday once we heard it was just practice. We'll make it a point to get to G&J in August or one of the CRP rounds. You guys definitely had awesome weather for racing
  8. Thanks, and looking further, you're right. I'd seen both dates posted on their schedule, so it was misleading until I saw the caption stating practice Saturday and racing Sunday. Will see if we can make it out Sunday instead
  9. Not a bad idea at all. Habits like that can help you catch on to slow leaks before they possibly ruin your day.
  10. Weather looks to be stellar for racing this weekend. Wife and I will be there spectating Saturday. Didn't get to see much of the action at MidO last weekend with all else that was going on. Pumped to witness how everything flows throughout the day, and to hang with some OR folk. Who else is in for this?
  11. No offense taken man....you definitely found a great deal. I was simply explaining my side. And there's nothing wrong with anyone else's choices here either. I'd had a cheap Autozone type stick gauge lie to me by more than 10 pounds at the Gap last year, ultimately cost me a front tire/labor....so I made sure I showed my wallet who's the boss of my tire pressures.
  12. Yeah, I know there are much cheaper versions to be had....I just wanted to buy one and done. This is a robust and well made tool, anything breaks and it's replaced, plus the convenience of Snappy coming to the shop every week saves me time and/or mileage dealing with retailers or shipping back for warranty. So, I feel I got my money's worth
  13. I went big on mine, but it's accurate to 1%, versatile chuck, and lifetime warranted through Snappy. Since buying a NoMar, I guess I just didn't want to skimp on anything.
  14. Congrats man! How about some upskirt and full pen shots?
  15. Brian is a good guy to deal with, doesn't neglect his bikes, and is one hellacious rider/racer - buy with confidence folks - GLWS
  16. You buy Ohlins, and he needs more biz from us? You just fed him for the month! But you're dead on....Mike is one good dude. I always consider RD first, discounts aside....it's the sweet customer service that keeps me.
  17. Because Sam said it. That guy has a razor sharp jib with a sailors vocabulary and can turn a bible passage into porn from zero to WTF in a decimal second.

Was really nice not seeing you too Dan
  19. I've got CompAcc as a semi local dealer ( 40 miles ) but unsure about the competence of their Duc service. Maintenance wouldn't be too horrible for me since I only ride 5-6k miles a year. Pricetag was my biggest hurdle, with DVT and electronic issues on the latest gen being the 2nd. We'll see. Haven't ruled it out completely, but it's tough to overlook the lightly used market....especially once more of the new gens start trading/selling.
  20. Damnit. I'm trying to find chinks in the armor of this thing so I'll quit considering it an option....you're not helping my case
  21. The VFR1200, or an expensive R1200RS, are about the 2 lightest weight STs that offer shaft drive ( if it's a must for you ). While the RS has awesome ergos/electronics/abs/cruise, I hear the OEM luggage sucks, the engine is quite and odd duck in it's delivery, and it costs near 20k.
  22. If we can make the fall ride Jim, you're welcome to take my Sprint for a spin....but I'm sure lacking legroom will be an issue, it is for me ( I'm barely 6ft ) on long rides. I agree with IP. Demo some bikes, borrow some bikes, see what you feel suits you best, then surf out a purchase

Karma heard you braggin, huh? My head, arms, calves got lit up Friday but remembering sunscreen the rest of the weekend kept further burn at bay. Good hanging with you man, some fun bs time with you and Justin. It was toasty under the sun all day, but I love watching the inside/outside stuffins the riders put on one another at the carousel - it's a good, close vantage point....but a huge umbrella or EZup would've made it better. Fun hangin' with you too man. Glad to hear you and what made it home safe. Thanks for the help.....and damnit, I'm not huge, I'm HUSKY!
