  1. Great job @NinjaDoc, even if it didn't turn out like you'd imagined. Wish more had come out ( hence my comment "where is everyone?" ) to enjoy the good company, the awesome weather that day, and especially the ride. Still, a decent turnout. Felt good to be back at Logan and riding some familiar routes.
  2. Are the gift cert's still discounted? I see the 15% off option on their site, but haven't commited just yet
  3. I sooooo need to engage in this behavior. I'm a good 40 pounds away from even thinking about zipping my leathers, and I really hate to spend mega coin on a fatter size.....so, mission accepted - let the cut begin....again
  4. Same here, but I'm white...so I've learned to accept it Glad to hear you're alive and healing man. Once you're mended, we should all get together again for steak and beer!
  5. About the only thing I'll be tearing up is my ass and my quads LOL. Her and I just did the cart track thing this year, but I know she's ready to get her ninja back on a roadcourse.
  6. @snot and I might be able to make this happen depending on when it is, and if you all don't mind a couple lowly novice riders in your fancy dancy fast guy race club party
  7. Beasty naked. With the trellis style subframe, it's very SuperDuke'ish. I dig it
  8. Mmmmm, love me some Famous Dave's Devils Spit BBQ
  9. I've never heard of a bike stalling or cutting out from overloading it. Possibly bad fuel...?...but I'd check out your connections at the relay, battery, grounds, fuse block, etc to be sure they're clean and solid. Years ago I failed to double check my battery terminals after the winter hibernation and had a corroded connection stall my ninja on a ride, so it's well worth the time to go over things. Dealers typically wont dig into a fix if they can't duplicate the problem, they may just chalk it up as operator error and send you home. Glad to hear you made it home ok, and hopefully the bike stays sorted out.

    no mirrors?

I run an identical mirror on my KTM, but the bar vibrations are so bad that they shake out of adjustment instantly when I'm hard on the throttle...rendering them usless until I readjust them. But when I ride easy, they stay put. Although mine are chinese and $18/pair, so CRG or Triumphs "should" be better....hopefully. Then again, you surely dont have the vibration issues that plague supermotos

    no mirrors?

Not sure of the legalities on using camera/monitor for rear views here in Ohio, but might create some delays in your life since the officer stopping you wont see any exterior mirrors on your bike. There's also Reevu helmets that have an overhead mirror that's stationed just above your forward field of vision, but there again...not sure if they're legal as your ONLY source of mirror here in Ohio, and could give leo's a reason to stop.
  12. I'd wager the 959 might be a little MORE corner capable than it's bigger sisters. Panigales are all trackday demons.....give it a try sometime, you'll learn tons about riding
  13. If Pirelli discos the Angel Gt.....I say we strike!

    no mirrors?

Or maybe they're running a rear view camera instead of mirrors? I agree with Justin....some ride, some flaunt
  15. I've been a Devin Townsend fan since the 90s with Strapping Young Lad, but it may be a bit much for your ears if you don't enjoy extreme metal.....but check it out anyway, amazing stuff in it's day - and the band has a virtually timeless sound. He's since done a lot of more rock oriented stuff with the Devin Townsend band/project - you may dig on it more as the vox is less abusive.
  16. Really nice bike. Wow, what a way to get back into riding.....congrats!!!

  19. Just saw this -- absolutely horrible news. Never met Ryan but we pm'd a bit now and then. A tragic end to a great guy. RIP rider
  20. What Jen said. Enjoyed ourselves quite a bit on the route you cooked up. And it was only a 1.25 hr trek from home, so we'll surely schedule a ride there next year season. Thanks again Bill
