  1. Silver is a good base color for a LOT of options, I have had so many ideas for mine but its too much to narrow down for me with all the bodywork thats on my ride.......but for a ladies cruiser, I'd have it striped pink and maybe violet or darker purple for some contrast. Nothing too crazy, since its HER bike - just some tasteful accents to personalize it for her ya know?
  2. Rip rider - that ramp can sneak up on ya quick, and there's usually debris from truck traffic too - sad to hear
  3. Just put a quad kit on that Sprint you're riding, BAM! Instant street legal "quad" - or buy a Spyder and go 3-wheeler?
  4. Is $11k a good deal for an '04 Softie?? I don't know ( or care to know ) much about Harley's quality and their respectable values, but just seems crazy in comparison to Jap bikes value vs. quality imo.
  5. I don't know you in the least, but you ride a sweet bike and dig guns - so you've got to be a good guy!! Happy Birthday Sniper!
  6. You may also want to check into Pekin Insurance Co. - it's a fairly new company that my agent just picked up and it saved us quite a bit over the course of a year. Of course we have the major multi-policy discount for covering our home, both vehicles, and both bikes........and remember that your age/MVR/marital status will all play a part in your bike premiums too
  7. "I seem to have lost my number......can I borrow yours?" "That's a nice outfit.......but it'd look better wadded up on my bedroom floor!" "You must be a parking ticket, because you got FINE written all over you" "Your legs must be tired because you've been running through my mind all day"
  8. Nice little infomercial - thats the place where i blew my CR250 apart. Some fun riding but with the drive there and back, it almost wasnt worth it for our group. We have some tracks to play on this side of Ohio, but the trail riding is virtually nonexistent. Wish I lived on the east side where all the good riding is, I'd be in WAY better shape if I did. Dirtriding has to be the funnest workout ever!!.......well, almost:D
  9. LED's are dead weight imo, and a waste of coin for me since I rarely ever ride at night anyway. But, to each his own.....some folk like to light up their scoots for more show-off powahhhh!!
  10. ^^ Thats what I'm thinking too, just pay someone to drop some sackcrete in that hole and trowel it out - by the time they would pull up the pavers, level out the base, and relay them all.....may as well crete it
  11. Congrats on the YZF!! Pics! Pics! Pics!
  12. from the adjacent side of Ohio...
  13. YZF & ZZR 600's are surely the best picks of the litter you're looking at - both are comparable in power, handling, comfort, touring possibilities, etc. And definitely dont worry about buying a more powerful bike, gives you growing room and you'll learn to appreciate the additional power/flickability. I can understand being tentative about choosing your next purchase, but you cant go wrong with either of these bikes........personally, I would go straight to a 750 for a guy your size but a 600 will suffice for some years of learning and skill improvement. Congrats in advance on your soon-to-be new-to-you bike!!
  14. I can't believe he went to all the trouble making this costume and failed to install a man-sized undergarment penis enlargement device for additional sex appeal..........then again, this outfit is FAR from sexually appealing anyway - so.........props to the 50 yr old kid!!
  15. Damn! I'm a firm believer in doing my own oil service on all my vehicles and toys
  16. Used to tent camp years ago, did some winter camp/hikes in my teens but diggin a foot deep to pitch a tent sucks a big fat one! Some of the best times ever were camping for days with the guns, the dirtbikes, and fishin' gear - always something fun to do with that trio!!
  17. j/k man.......seriously, I'd just go hang out with other riders at the dragstrip and try to pickup as much as possible for free -- then maybe check out some seminars to fine tune your new skills?
