Same here.....minus the crashes......LOVE these boots, well made for sure -- too bad they're disco'd. May find some leftover stock somewhere online though

Oh, the hilarity. Sounds like something I would do. Never been tazed or maced but I did cut up some habaneros and thoroughly washed up before taking a piss. Didn't help. Uhm, ouch.

Brock isn't a member here. I originally found him through bikeland.org forum when I bought my Brocked ZX14 from one of his contract engineers back in early '09. He's a good guy to know. Definitely worth a visit to check out his contributions to the Gods of speed.

I've heard you can wash it down with a wet sponge, just dry it thoroughly and use a leather conditioner afterwards. Febreeze the inside after it's dry if it gets too funky

Thanks motocat. Yeah, the new ZX10 looks beasty as well, and I'm sure Brock will make that faster as well. He's great at finding more power

Welcome to the forum. Since this issue came about when you had just filled the tank, and it's an older bike - drain the tank and check for any sediment/rust clogging up the petcock. Drain the tank and try fresh fuel also.

Left side of the head fairing is broken off, and the left bar end is missing as well. My opinion is that it was wrecked, and likely put back together out of pocket to keep the title clear. Behind those fairings may be some surprises, like bondo/fiberglass work - I wouldn't pay more than 4k.

Brock has finished building quite an animal, taking the $25k street version H2 and making it a faster performer ( by the numbers ) than the $50k H2R version using nothing but some bolt-on goodies and tuning. ECTA World record set at 219mph in the standing mile for it's class, and an 8.99@166+mph 1/4 mile pass without stretching the swinger. https://youtu.be/lopR2y6tl4A Sorry....i-suck-at-embedding.com

Here's a link to his thread on OR, hope this helps... http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/100084-the-slow-evolution-of-my-zx12r/?hl=+zx12 +turbo'>http://ohioriders.net/index.php?/topic/100084-the-slow-evolution-of-my-zx12r/?hl=+zx12 +turbo

Yes he did, and it's a brute. Visited him when he was working on it and he has built quite a demon out of a '00 ZX12R. I recall he used ZX14 injectors and fabbed a lot of the build as well. Not sure of the turbo size/brand, but he took his time and tested/tuned little by little -- think he's got it done now. Here's a link to his build... http://www.zxforums.com/forums/zx-12r-forum/71354-my-zx12r-evolution-whats-going-fatcave-today.html'>http://www.zxforums.com/forums/zx-12r-forum/71354-my-zx12r-evolution-whats-going-fatcave-today.html

Is the 27.3 all you Sam? Or does that include the po's data as well? Is there an onboard reset? Or do you pull the battery cables to reset the avg mileage memory?
-
Definitely. Tonik, title change...hop to it

You can just skip leg days at the gym since you'll be clutch and throttle pumping everyday. So, in essence, you buying this car would SAVE you a day at the gym every week, therefore ultimately restituting it's initial cost. But you have to call now, this car is cleaner than teenage tits - definitely wont lastGLWS bro!

Nice Miami hamburger drop. Now THAT'S some serious munchies

I've been too high once....and only once. Back in the mid 90's I was treated to the FINEST dank fluff I've ever tasted, courtesy of an out-of-state friend visiting. He dropped by the house and we hung out on the garage couches for a few hours shooting shit of old times. Smoked quite a bit towards the end of the visit. Right after he left, I became a fucking retarded mess. The most intense high ever, combined with a few beers and an empty stomach - head started swimming, heart was palpitating, couldn't focus on anything but my studdering heartbeat and the blackhole of twisting visions in my head. I thought for sure I was buying the farm that night. Slowly sliding to my side on the couch, wishing my onlooking dog the very best as I drifted into what I thought was eternal darkness....woke up an hour later and felt fine. Moderation has been key, with everything, ever since.....well, except food - I still partake in frequent meat comas.

There's a ton of info at bike trackdays hub. Should other trackday questions need answered, this is a good source ( credit goes to TimTheAzn for the link ) http://biketrackdayshub.com/all-articles/

That website needs to be stickied in the trackday subforum here. Good one-stop source of info for noobs and vets, alike. Nice find Tim

Nice new ride Sam. Congrats.

Probably fixated on the truck and tagged the van. Appeared he had space to split through, but filtering next to a semi isn't exactly a smart maneuver. Then again, his protective gear speaks volumes of his decision making skills

I plan to clean my big Ninja to prep for sale/trade and get my new BMW ordered. Both supermotos will just get hooked to the battery tenders. Not sure what the wife has planned for her little Ninja

Good to hear you're on the mend, but damn that's quite a bit of physical trauma. If something like that doesn't end you, then definitely count your blessings man!!
