Good to hear Sam. My nonmenthol switch has enabled me to cut mine way back to half of the norm, and I'm definitely enjoying it less and less ( but I'm drinking tonight, so my ween will surely be affected ). The next step will be quitting. I still haven't ordered the book, but I do plan to. I need to seek out a healthy vice to substitute this old habit

Wife and I are out. I'm stuck working all weekend and she's fighting strep throat, bronchitis, and sinus infection triple threat.

The list of tracks on my list are all out of state other than MidOhio, but there's Putnam Park, Autobahn Country Club, Road America, Grattan, Gingerman, Virginia International, NOLA, Barber, Road Atlanta, Jennings. These are just the eastern US tracks, but I've got Laguna Seca and Miller on my bucket list though THAT is ridiculous for motorcycle service rates. $100/hr is class 8 truck wrench rates! $50-70/hr would be much more reasonable while still being extremely profitable.

Whats the verdict with VIR? Is it a favorite of anyone here? Or at least well worth the trip? -
I'm looking forward to more track time in 2014. I would like to see more dealers supporting/hosting track days. Offering track time discounts would be a great way to not only entice more riders seeking skill improvement via a safe and regulated track facility, but also dealers setting up at the track to sell sportbike related equipment and protective gear would help inflate their sales a bit. Not to mention the positive publicity for those dealers in doing so. I'd consider shopping a local dealer that supported my new habit before just ordering online to save some coin. Just a thought.

No doubt or....snag a midget by his toe, sling him to the zombies and go go go

Midgets would surely be better off since they can actually outrun low flying fire, while we have to hit the deck and crawl

Shit.....I'm already covered there, I fuckin married a crazy cat lady AND I drink cat piss so my catgod alien scented aura is as complete as can be.....so that's one less extra I'll need in my posse of preparedness. You prepared? Doubtful, so I'll pray for you the moment I get word that your head was found on a pike outside the burnt remains of your looted home.....Godspeed Magz

Conjecture. You are grading a group by only some of its members. Perhaps they just dont like the look and smell of your city duds?

The video boasts this thing gets about 230 miles city use per charge. The shit part would be waiting an hour for it to recharge, or at minimum a 10 minute quick charge. I'm more curious about purchase price, long term maintenance costs, and battery life cycle

Where's Gunner? He needs another one of these to get back to carving up SEO

Saw the electric class race at Indy's MotoGP this year. An abbreviated race due to battery life expectations, think it was 7 laps? Eric Bostrom placed 2nd in the race, not bad for a pioneer class machine and props to the builders for the breakthrough in performance electric bikes. BUT, it was weird seeing them come down the frontstraight and only hearing tire noise. They were pretty much flatout at turn 1's entry. A few didnt finish, crashed, mech'd, or batts died early, and there was a mix of fully faired bikes and nakeds - definitely an odd class to see compared to screaming engines and smoking tires of 2 and GP

Everyone does realize that the hillbilly/redneck groups will all out live the rest of the population if shit ever hits the fan, right? So, best be buddy'ing up to some in a butt fierce hurry to help insure your existence that much longer for the when the impending apocalypse occurs.

Since OsuMj is throwing this shindig, and she's coming from Cbus, its up to her -- but LYT is a popular destination for west siders and simple for her and for us northern west siders to get to.

Snot and I will probably be a go for this

^^^This is true. I did not realize ( or remember from the old school days ) this until just reading up a bit. I've definitely forgotten more about government than I obviously cared to learn in the first place. And although the founding fathers were slave traders and decidedly did not follow "biblically sensed" christianity, they were faithful deists who truly believed in a God....however, their God was but only a creator and had no purpose for everyone and everything such as christians believe. I need to get my anti-politically correct bs facts straight before shootin from hip with it

Best of luck man. Several years ago I tried the vape setup, but it was one of the early designs and a poor one at that. Seemed to be harsher than actual cigs, but I kept trying with it off/on for a while. They eventually both broke beyond repair. Before that, I'd tried Chantix but the nightmares seemed to turn into night terrors and became unbearable, not to mention lack of sleep wore on me too. The Chantix did work after the first week, I hated the taste and smell of cigs and didnt really miss them once I'd quit then. Made it almost 2 weeks before stopping the drug and an additional week after that before breaking down and cracking open a new pack. Always been a battle. I'd want to quit and ween my use down to stopping, make it 4-5 days before starting up again. From all I've researched, this seems a common trend among smokers, quit/start/quit/start but a psychologically taxing personal weakness as well. I'll look into this book as I dont want to rely on a drug or vape again. I bought a pack of regs to get off the menthols first, that will help ween me way back.....again.....since I hate the taste of a regular and have been a menthol smoker for over 6 years now. Smoked for over 25 years now so it needs to happen and wish I'd never started. Grew up with my Dad smoking day in and day out, so it was almost too easy to get away with as a teen since everything smelled of it. Big mistake. My cardio is for shit, I'm cold all winter long ( assuming due to vein constriction ) and my pulmonary system sounds like my bearings are washed out. Time for change
