  3. Story of my life......a promise of good things, but ends up just being work
  4. If we go and decide to camp - it'll most likely be Lot 2 where turnone stays. We parked there last year and it's a good locale
  5. Maybe it mounts inverted by it's toprail? Stupid setup really, especially for the pricetag. I do dig that dual 10/22 gatlin mock though
  6. Sad to hear of this. At least he died doing what he loved
  7. Bad can't be racist......he's not white protestant
  8. I'm a firm believer in credit unions. Mine helped me re-establish a good credit standing years ago, as well as my wife's. Doesn't hurt to talk to them once you find a bike you want, have a total price in mind, and how heavy your down payment would be.
  9. Tomorrow marks my 1 month point of being smoke free. Planning to cardio up myself. I don't believe the track tech's would dig me wearing my leather around the track unzipped with my gut out flailing freely. This year is all about self improvement
  10. Nice murdered out 6r. What's that Nismo I see there?
  11. Looking like the 17th wkend is pulling to win, wife and I will try for this but it's gonna be a juggling act with the daughter. Worst case, we'll have to opt in for the Fall ride.
  12. That was the wife and I on our first Dream ride in 2012. We left home about 630am at 38ish degrees, rode just over 400 miles that day but temps hit around 60, got home 15 hrs later and it was about 38 degrees by then again. Frosty, chapped, saddle ass. In short, we trailered last year

How about an OR trackday July 18th on AMA race weekend? Hopefully we'll see several of us out there representing
  14. Sad. Waste of a vintage bike, waste of riding gear, waste of money, waste of time, and a waste of good land. Cremation. It's cheap, it's simple, and easy for the family to share you

BECAUSE SEMEN IS ACTUALLY FOOD FOR LADIES No clue, just trying to wagontrain with you cool kids
  16. Thats some bullshit right there, wonder if they upped security at the footbridge and hillsides where the fences are close to the track? I've not paid attention the last few years there, but we always walk the whole complex to see as much of the passing as we can and didn't notice any additional security at either side of the bridge
  17. Blown motors happen, and the belly catch pans are only good for so much oil before it spills. Racers knowingly live with the risk but things still happen when jackholes forget, or fail to care enough to wire shit in. I've been considering the diaper pin/safety wire tether setup on our streetbikes just for peace of mind once we move to Intermediate trackdays. Just a good idea to ensure they'll not backout on the street too, and doesn't add THAT much hassle to oil changes. Plus it gives me an excuse to order some fancy pants predrilled color anodized drain plugs, caliper bolts, and fill plugs for our bikes
  18. If there's gonna be 2 rides, I say set one in Spring and one in the Fall to give folks a couple options to plan for. I'd rather later in the year, than earlier. The brine/salt/debris is long gone by then, plan it prior to the leaves dropping, and everyone is more seasoned with their riding skills
  19. I'd call a locksmith and play it safe, but there is a free alternative. Just anonymously call in a bogus tip that drugs are being made/sold there, let the cops bust the door in to raid it.....they break it, they buy it. Just hope they wont prosecute Gma for the small bag of hooch and vibrator in her dresser.
  20. Still shopping/self-educating/deciding on the extent of this build. I'd like a 1:7 20" in at least a medium weight barrel, doesn't HAVE to be bull or fluted but accuracy is the MO with this build so I may opt for the same as you. Complete uppers I'm finding are a bit lack luster of what I want, where others are ridiculously priced/overbuilt for my needs. HUGE amount of options to sift through and as usual, I'm probably overcooking every one of the possibilities
  21. My wifes uncle says Lexol makes an awesome leather conditioner, he owns a lucrative auto detailing business and swears by this stuff on leather interior. Tons of uses for it other than automotive. I keep forgetting to nab some for my 1 piece http://www.lexol.com/
