Novice group bike prep is simple. So long as the bike's not leaking anything, plastics are all intact, brakes/tires/chain/sprockets are all in good shape, tape all the turn/head/tail lamps, pull the mirrors ( preferrably, but taping the glass will suffice ) remove the license plate ( preferrably, but taping the bolts will suffice ) and duct tape your wheel weights. That's pretty much it, aside from your riding gear -- novice class is lenient. Hop on their website and check out the requirements. http://www.midohio.com/School/Courses/Motorcycles/Performance-Track-Riding'>http://www.midohio.com/School/Courses/Motorcycles/Performance-Track-Riding
  3. Reminding folks that this has moved to 2/19/14 @ Kings Table http://www.kingstable.co/visit-us/'>http://www.kingstable.co/visit-us/ Is BW3's still on tonight though?
  4. So, you're hunting a complete upper and not building right? I'll keep my eyes peeled while I shop and throw info your way if I find anything
  5. Yeah that Nismo must be quite a little screamer. Livin your life a 1/4 mile at a time? Cool toy collection

Sometimes it's likely the safer bet. Not sure how they run their trackday groups, but STT broke down their novice groups into fast, medium, and noob subgroups....so they may follow the same guideline/critique to allow the more experienced novice riders better options? I've not had any experience outside of STT though
  7. Same here. Aside from a vehicle or a home, I refuse to pay interest on things I want. You can contact the bank and stop payment like a normal checking account, correct? I've not done it with my check card but assume the rules still apply?

Thanx, will email MidO and see what their answer is. Garage isn't a must, but the in-house electric/air is always a nice convenience instead of needing to drag out the gen or inverter
  9. I was pissed back when the black album came out, Justice rocked along with every album prior to it. Ironic that Metallica started out setting trends in the industry, only to wind up trying to follow them later money hungry hacks. As for that new Horlet album, it's still in my truck's cd player as well. Best metal band out of Dayton in a while. They've put together some good material, and sound good live too. I've known Eric Barnes ( drummer ) for almost 20 years since my first band, but he wasn't this good way back then LOL. Never know, they may get picked up and be on their way soon. We'll be playing some more shows with them this year for sure.

Is there a deposit to nab garage space in the pits, or is it free? Are they even available with it being AMA weekend eve? I've surfed their site and didn't find anything about it.
  11. Hell yeah, Megadeth never sold out just to commercialize their music. Rust In Peace was my first favorite from them, I learned Tornado of Souls when I first picked up the guitar. Good stuff. Met Dave Mustaine at Indy Speedway back in the early 90's, but he was drunk/drugged up and a complete doucher to me......but I forgave him anyway as he walked away
  12. Ah, disregard then. Knew a guy that's in Springfield looking for a parts job.
  13. I like the wiki link below your last entry to confirm it's a non-racist post
  14. I've never dealt with K&B before, so I cant vouch for 'em. But if you do end up buying from them and have issues with the upper, what kind of customer service can you honestly expect when they aren't even willing to sell in a timely fashion? I say red flag

Negatory, it took every ounce of me testiculars to stick with you at Putnam. Had to wait on a mistake to get ya and once you get that SV dialed, I'll be damn lucky to hang in any corner Dude, bring that 12 out and play. My 14 is fatter than that, not to mention I'm fatter too, and I have a blast. It's not a race, it's a learning experience. Just wring whatcha bring!
  17. Sam, are you using vg straight up or a vg/pg blend? I'm on a blend now, but wondered about whole vg and just how different it is in comparison
  18. Up in my pants Fast and Furious in my pants Taken in my pants Jaws in my pants Gremlins in my pants Descent in my pants Grown Ups in my pants ( my urine is ) Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs in my pants
  19. Cool trip and great shots. Riding Aussie country looks like fun
  20. Took the ARC a few years ago. It's worth it and I did pick up on a few things with low speed manevering. One in particular that I'd always done in the dirt, but it never even clicked for street riding until the ARC's example....sliding off the seat towards the outside of your turn to greatly shorten your turning radius. Again, this is a low speed tactic so don't try it on the highway unless you're just done living.
